Story
Booth Pena definitely didn’t make the smartest of decisions when he was a teenager. At eighteen, he knocked a girl up and signed up for the military all in the same day. There weren’t a lot of things that the baby’s mother and he saw eye to eye on after that. He honestly wasn’t sure why he even slept with her in the first place. Okay, that last part is a lie. He knows exactly why he slept with her. Because the real woman he’s in love with, her twin sister, Dillan, won’t give him the time of day. Five years later, and he still wants her.

I enjoyed this book. The introduction of the new characters " The Wildings".
I usually read reviews and I was concerned at first by some of them thinking I would be disappointed. Glad I wasn't.
Also there were complaints about the narrator changing the voices of the characters not being consistent from the other books. I'm going to say it was a very good change. The whisper like batman quality to the male characters voices in previous books was gone. The fact that very old werewolves from foreign countries not having accents bothered me. As those are in this book and batman voice is gone I was much happier with the narrator. it seemed to me that maybe the narrator took some speech classes or acting classes and expanded his repertoire of voices.

Story
It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding. There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they?

I enjoy her books. However the only part about this audio book that is annoying is there is an error. The narrarator mentions around chapter 7 or 8. Then she goes back to reading the story. It is annoying. Why didn't your editors edit that out. Why did she even audio that in the book while she was narrating?

Ugh! The background music is annoying. Why is it even there. My thoughts are that the narrator is so monotone that she is compensating for her less than exciting tone of voice with background music. It bothers me so much unfortunately I will not be able to finish listening. I’ve only been able to get through about 5 or 6 chapters. Waste of $.🙁

I enjoyed this story. It was different than books I have read or listened to in the past. I enjoyed that the hero was not perfect. He was normal, grumpy and not overly sure of himself like a lot of hero’s in romance novels. I also enjoyed the setting of the story, farming/restaurant.

Story
No connections. Play it safe. These were the rules Ivey lived her life by. Until she hit Mustang, Colorado, a perfectly imperfect town where the citizens were welcoming, and one of them included the tall, beautiful, macho-man rancher cowboy Grayson Cody. On the run for a decade, Ivey knew she was supposed to play it safe. But she was tired of being on the run. She wanted normal. She wanted real. She wanted a home. And she wanted Grayson Cody. And Grayson Cody wanted Ivey.

I like Kristen Ashley books

I really enjoy all the books I have listened to by Kristen Ashley. The only critique I would give, is to change up the characters vocabulary. Not every woman says OMG or that's so sweet. The men seem to use the same words too. I had to take a temporary break from any more of her books so I wouldn't go nuts, with the repetitiveness. But I'll go back and listen/read more.

Story
Tamika Cleary takes a wrong turn up a one-way street - and straight into Thibault Delacroix's leg as he steps into the road. But Mika's in a hurry, and she certainly doesn't have time for a guy who can't even look both ways before crossing, even if he does have a cute face, a body to die for, and the darkest, thickest eyelashes she's ever seen. Unfortunately for Mika, fate has other ideas. When she's threatened by her employer, a Russian mafia boss known as "The Thief", she's forced to accept Thibault's help.

I am having a hard time listening to this book because the narrator is poor. She has barely any inflection in her voice. It seems as though she doesn't like the book she is performing. If she doesn't like it then how are we suppose to enjoy it as listeners.
