Story
Starting a new life in a new city is never easy, but Kelsey Peterson is managing. She owns her own specialty shop, she's made some new friends, and she's finally feeling like she's ready to put down some roots in this small Chicago suburb. She's even struck up some regular flirtatious banter with that sexy blonde she continually runs into at Starbucks.

The subject of blended families and that of the instant attraction one can have when meeting another for the first time
Reviewed: 12-21-23
Georgia's books are always too short, I want her books to go on and on. The subject of blended families and that of the instant attraction one can have when meeting another for the first time, things I've experienced and wish I could do it all again. But there's the hitch, you don't get that a second time when you have had that attraction for each other for 30 years. It's a good lesson on remembering what is most important in life, because life is never long enough and one needs to keep what is most important right up front.

Story
Angie Righetti is the daughter of a sprawling but close-knit Italian American family. She's out and they're proud. Jillian Clark's family is the white bread to Angie's olive oil. Stoic and emotionally buttoned up, they don't want to think about Jillian's sexuality. It's 1988 when they move in together, on the brink of starting their careers. Like every couple at the start of their life together, they expect to live happily ever after. And for 23 years life happens.

Nice to hear about a couple staying the course. My wife and I were together 27 years before I lost her. I’m patiently waiting for the day I pass over the rainbow bridge and spend eternity together.

Great story! My only critique is the narrator didn’t give much range in voices for the characters which was then hard to distinguish who was speaking.

Story
Cherry Davis is turning her part-time influencer gig into a full-time venture. As Cherry on Top, she’s the happy, loved lesbian lifestyle guide with an enviable relationship, friends, and wardrobe. Reputation is crucial for her business, and if she uses some smoke and mirrors to spice it up? She doesn’t hurt anybody. Everyone else does it, too. Trolls might try to tell her she isn’t being authentic, but she’s tougher than they are. Her childhood gave her a thick skin.

Fluffy Title
Reviewed: 05-10-23
At first, I wasn’t sure this was going to be a book I wanted to read since I’m not a big follower of internet stuff and the title just seemed to be a little fluffy for my taste. However, I’m a fan of Beers and the reviews sounded good and I’m so glad I didn’t pass this story up. Nice moral to the story, performance excellent, sad when the story ended, I wanted more!
