Enjoyable story, horrible narration

Would you listen to What Matters Most again? Why?

This was a typically enjoyable Georgia Beers story, nearly ruined by inexplicable narration. The tone and affect of the narrator was bordering on sarcastic and bored. Like it was being read by the Real Housewives cast. I almost couldn’t get past my annoyance to finish the book. But I did enjoy the story.

Would you recommend What Matters Most to your friends? Why or why not?

Mmmmmm, not sure. I’d recommend the book but not the audiobook

How could the performance have been better?

By hiring a different narrator.

love the book!

The book is amazing... the narration needs a bit of work. Great characters and I love the plot.

Great Story, Horrible Narration

I really loved this story but from the moment the narration began it was like nails on a chalkboard. I literally had to start the book 3 times. I'm glad I did because first off I bought it and secondly I enjoyed the story.

The problem I had with the narration was that she sounded, pretentious in that almost every line read ended on a down note with a throaty gravelly sound throughout the whole book. Very offputting.

Great book

Loved the book; narration was great although sound wasn't true. Story line was great but wish it would have developed storyline further than they did. it just ended with what matters most which was the title. I just like to see relationships develop I guess.

Another great book from Georgia

Georgia has penned 2 great strong independent women who both are loving and caring. Unfortunately they allow their pride and stubbornness to almost ruin a really great thing.
the supporting characters are fleshed out nicely and the mother/stepmother adds just enough loving attention that grest moyherd do.

A Scent of Romance

Kelsey Petersen moved to Chicago to start a new life. She owns her own shop and is making lots of new friends. She’s having a flirtatious time with a woman she sees at Starbucks and her life is moving forward. Then the complications begin and she has to learn to forgive and ask for forgiveness. Sweet erotic romance and story. Strong performance. Recommend.

Worth the purchase, as always.

A very realistic, believable and (most importantly) enjoyable love story. Georgia Beers continues to captivate with in depth characters and raw emotions that not only leaves you satisfied, but wanting more.

Decent Lesbian Fiction

This book was entertaining, but I wish they had selected a different narrator. The voice was not quite right. Overall, a great story.
