Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Loved this life as lived and told by Harry. We all have family issues in this life but most of us are lucky not to have the evil press and The Royal household who are working to bring us down. I love that Harry decided to live his life on his own terms and live it fully. I applaud him I support him and wish him nothing but the best. he is truly a great representation of Diana.

For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. it was a fantastic gripping story so well written. I could see and here the sites and sounds of the marsh. I could feel everything Kaya was going through. It was that character's story and right or wrong it's how it turned out.

I have read all of Mary andrews's books and enjoyed them. this is not one of my favorites because I found the lead character to be a little bit unrealistic. perhaps it was the way she was depicted by the audible performance. entertaining read though.

Good book but didn't need the preaching.

I enjoyed the characters in the story but got a little annoyed when suddenly I realized it's a Christian book and this was not evident up front. I'm happy with my religion and I don't need to have a religious lesson when I'm just trying to enjoy a good historical novel. The author really poured it on thick at the end which distracted from the story. I always feel like I'm being recruited. I believe in the freedom of religion and there should be Christian books. just tell people up front that's what it is in the description so you have a choice.

Story
Mary Stewart, one of the great British storytellers of the 20th century, transports listeners to rural Northumberland for this tale of romance, ambition and deceit - a perfect fit for fans of Agatha Christie and Barbara Pym. Whitescar is a beautiful old house and farm situated in Roman Wall country. It will make a rich inheritance for its heirs, but in order to secure it, they enlist the help of a young woman named Mary who bears remarkable resemblance to missing Whitescar heiress Annabel Winslow. Their deception will spark a powder keg of ambition, obsession and long-dead love.

The narrator had a very strange cadence to her speech and most of the time was very monotonous and droning. her voices were good but the listening became very boring. also this one had way more dialogue and less action than the previous one. I'm not sure if I'm going to read the third one.
