Story
Welcome to Black Spring, the seemingly picturesque Hudson Valley town haunted by the Black Rock Witch, a seventeenth century woman whose eyes and mouth are sewn shut. Muzzled, she walks the streets and enters homes at will. She stands next to children's bed for nights on end. Everybody knows that her eyes may never be opened or the consequences will be too terrible to bear.

long uneventful and awful narrator.

the story definitely had potential but it took about half the book for something to finally happen, the ending was very much lackluster not to mention the awful narrator

the story was there and seemed rushed. the author could have went much further into detail instead of skipping over parts of the story. this book had its moments but I feel it's more twords the tween/young adult side of horror. all in all.it did keep my attention tho.
