Loved this book - been dealing with Lyme Disease for years and this helps me navigate the shark filled waters out there in the medical system.

Loved the performance - obviously a great story. I always loved the book more than the movie because Tolkien had a way of bringing Middle Earth to life, really makes me feel like I’m there.

This critical analysis of U.S. history, which explains our present through our past and how racial lines have been drawn between black and white throughout history, is a must read for everyone. It helped me understand my own privilege and bias in the face of continued oppression of black people in America. I hope to see more from Adam Serwer in the future. He gives a voice to the voiceless and identifies how we got so divided. I hope we can use this to make changes in this country.

I enjoy Christopher Moore’s books. This isn’t as comical as his later books, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. He has vibrant characters who find themselves in interesting situations. Enjoy!

I loved the continued story about Charlie Asher and his friends as they learn about life and death. The thought that souls can be put into ham - who comes up with this? Loved it! And the reading was perfect! Thank you for the smiles!

This book displays the macabre, death and evil with hilarity. Moore’s imagination in coming up with these characters and the situations he puts them into come from pure brilliance. He takes normal, every day situations and adds the absurd into them like they are normal. Every child should have two giant hellhounds who take baths with her every night like it is an every day occurrence. Love it and can’t wait for the next book!!

Mary Trump made a hard decision when she chose to write this book and expose so much about her family. I wish she would have known her Uncle better and could have given more information about him. But as she found out when her Uncle wanted her to write his autobiography, it’s hard to get close to him. I feel for her in knowing how her grandfather destroyed her father - and pretty much wrecked the rest of his family. I have studied many of our Presidents and these type of family dimensions are common - and personality traits do not compare to the idiocracy of Trump’s world. It’s an o.k. book - not as mind blowing as the press made it out to be.

The book was rather disjointed going from narrator to narrator and the history is told from the white, privileged perspective. Didn’t care for it much. Had some interesting things though.

Stephen King continues to outdo himself. His ability to capture the world through children’s eyes makes this story great for me. Like “Stand By Me,” “It” and others he has written, Stephen King makes me remember what it is like to be a child. I travel through time and in the circumstance, become a child who have been abducted from my parents. He touches on the politics of real life through this story. I loved the read.
