5 stars aren’t enough. Eloquently written, and two of the BEST narrators ever! Pure perfection!

I’ll take responsibility for not realizing this was a take on Sleepless...I was just so excited to find a new MM story since everything shifted and my membership doesn’t include many books I interested in. I jumped on this especially because Teddy was narrating (he’s incredible). But it fell short. I waited and waited and waited for an explosion of sorts. And it was as romantic as my husband remembering to pick up my coffee that I ordered online. Blah.

Also, the accents were all over the place. At some point the daughter sounded country. Did I miss something? So confusing.

Loved their relationship

More than anything, I loved the relationship between the three men. Each of them so different.

The story was fairly entertaining… When I found distracting was the narration. Although in general it was good, the narrator kept screwing up the accents. I can imagine it's difficult to get it right but he would kick into using the accent at times when he shouldn't have. Or would use a really thick accent for Mateo and then shift out of it within the same conversation. Sometimes he would use the accent when Tristan was talking.

What a beautiful story. There's no substitution for listening to Mayte read the story of her experience. In this incredible heartfelt reflection of her experiences as a child and of her relationship with Prince readers become connected to the purity of her love, their love.
