Publisher's summary

Nothing in life is ever easy, and no one is more painfully aware of that than Josiah Evans, Mateo Sanchez, and Tristan Croft. They know what they want - each other - but with three people as broken as they are, all those pieces aren't so easily mended.

Josiah is their glue. All he wants is to give his men what they need.

Mateo wants to absolve himself of his sins. To be worthy of love and to protect it.

Tristan must let go of his past, must learn how to need, and what it really means to take care of someone.

To keep the balance intact, they all have their roles to play. But what happens if the balance shifts? What happens when someone doesn't play the right part? If one of them falters, they all feel the strain.

The only way to complete their full circle is for all their pieces, despite the curves and rough edges, to fit together perfectly. To do that, Josiah, Mateo, and Tristan must learn to get over the pasts that have defined who they are. And when an old enemy returns and threatens the foundation of their new life, decisions will be made, and boundaries will be tested that could change their lives forever.

My heart!!

I freaking love these guys!!

I love the differences each three guys but I also love how good they fit together and play off one another.

I will say.. I love Mateo most of all. I grew up knowing story’s like his. Seeing story’s like his. Being thankful I didn’t intimately know his story.

Bravo! Perfect!!

Amazing

I did not think I would be able to get into a threesome love story. Was I wrong. This story is so captivating, it took my breathe away. The characters were so well developed, I could easily imagine each person’s pain, and growth.

Top 10 rereads

This audiobook, along with the first one (Broken Pieces) come together to make a truly beautiful story. the narration is incredible, and the characters. Oh boy, theses men are so well written. Their flaws are the perfect mix of realistic without crossing into the dangerous territory of overdone and annoying just for the sake of it. I feel the ending could have used a little something more.

*POSSIBLE SPOILER*

We got a great deal of Teo and how he heals from his past and handles moving on from being a gang banger as a young adult. I would have liked to see a bit more of Tris and his internal battle of letting go of his own dark past.

Other than that, amazing. 4.5/5

Loved their relationship

More than anything, I loved the relationship between the three men. Each of them so different.

The story was fairly entertaining… When I found distracting was the narration. Although in general it was good, the narrator kept screwing up the accents. I can imagine it's difficult to get it right but he would kick into using the accent at times when he shouldn't have. Or would use a really thick accent for Mateo and then shift out of it within the same conversation. Sometimes he would use the accent when Tristan was talking.

So worth the credit/money

I loved the store and so glad the same narrator did both books. I love that there's no plot holes in the story.

Jack DuPont is amazing!

We start the story with Teo and Josiah and Tristan working on Josiah’s coffee shop dream. They have all committed to working on a triad relationship, but…

Teo is still living in his crappy apartment, alone, to keep his PO happy.

Tristan is still distancing himself with mysterious phone calls and long nights in his office alone.

Josiah aches to keep his boys all together, but doesn’t DO confrontations and so doesn’t know what to do when things begin to unravel.

In this sequel there are no easy answers and the boys have to really work hard to stay together. They really are all so very broken, that it doesn’t magically go away.

Teo and Tristan’s mother bond, Tristan and Elliot (Josiah’s friend) bond, and in the end Ben (Tristan’s friend) proves to be a better friend than anyone could guess.

The love between the boys grows exponentially and the danger they face is serious. I loved how Riley Hart has continued their story, not giving them an easy path, but realistically working through their ever-so-many issues. When we get to the end, it is very satisfying even though the boys remain imperfect, but perfect together.

I highly recommend this book and give it a 4.5 of 5 stars

Audio
Jack DuPont is AMAZING. He gives each of these men a unique voice and tenor and absolutely SMASHES IT OUT OF THE PARK with Mateo. Wow. Mateo has always been one of my book boyfriends and now he has a VOICE. Gah. It's truly the absolute best way to LOVE this book. A MUST!
