“Stop Overthinking!” is a comprehensive book on reducing rumination and anxiety.
“We can get caught in the loop of thoughts on things they can no longer control and can no longer change. When you dwell on your mistakes, problems, and shortcomings, it increases your chances of being affected by mental health problems. You may begin to experience feelings of insecurity, inadequacy, and unworthiness.” While listening to this part of the book, I replayed this section several times to write it here because it is the book's essence, and I felt Harley was speaking to me. Furthermore, Kate’s narration is a joy to listen to and makes the information relatable.
The book helps you gain self-awareness and 9 actionable steps with tips and tools to control your overthinking and anxiety and be the best version of yourself! I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE! If you don’t have issues with overthinking, you know someone who does, and this book can help you no matter your situation. It will make you a better person, more confident and self-aware, and help you reach your goals and dreams!

I related the example of “ordering from a menu at a restaurant.” It is as if you don’t tell the universe exactly what you want. You won’t get what you “order.” Be descriptive and exact. You don’t have to worry if the chef is making it, and It will be served on time and as ordered! This book is packed full of fabulous advice for living a life of abundance and your dreams! As the author says, I believe that our goal is to gain higher levels of consciousness and evolve and be a better version of ourselves. Everything you want is already yours. I highly recommend these inspirational audiobooks!

“Empath & Psychic Abilities for Highly Sensitive People” is an audiobook that answers many questions I never fully understood about myself. I often feel alone even though I love people. Despite the interaction, I have to recharge and limit my exposure because people deplete my energy. I’ve read many books and worked on my emotional regulation. They were helpful, but this book gave me a different perspective! It’s not just a psychological weakness I was experiencing but a gift, a superpower. I will reference this book to understand more about clairvoyance and telepathy, in addition to the other things I was unknowingly doing. Now I can practice and make it a skill now set boundaries easier. It was enlightening. If you are wondering similar things…I suggest you find your superpower and not judge yourself as inadequate because you aren’t like everyone else! Nope, why be ordinary when you can be exceptional? Highly recommended!

“A Brief History of Canada” is a fascinating overview of the country's discovery and North America's evolution. It discusses the indigenous people and European influences, wars, religions, territorial disputes and exchanges, and economics and fur trade effects to make it the great country it is today. I found the Hudson Bay Company and Northwest Bay Company conflict in Red River Valley, “The Battle of Seven Oaks,” fascinating. This audiobook is a quick way to educate yourself and be more knowledgeable about Canadian History. It is so interesting all the disputes and wars that fragmented it to make it the multicultural country it is today with diverse history and lore. I highly recommend this book. It is informational and fun to listen to, with fabulous narration!

Precisely what I needed!!

“Yin Yoga for Desk Dwellers” is a fabulous book that focuses on restoring the body and mind, and relieving tightness and tension in your body particularly if you sit for long periods. In my case, I have had issues with my low back for many years, including tightness in my hips and pelvis, neck, and shoulders, without naming all my medical problems, coupled with my tendency to sit too long at my desk this book was the perfect fit for me. I often do stretches and yoga and other exercises, but this audiobook focused on the specific areas I needed to stretch and helped me immensely go from the things I was already doing to adding more to my repertoire. I love the title it’s catchy, and it is perfect for those of us who have to use a time or apple watch to remember to STAND UP every hour! Now we can do some Yin Yoga too! Thanks, MoveBalanced! I highly recommend it!
