Story
From Frederick Forsyth, the grand master of international suspense, comes his most intriguing story ever - his own. For more than 40 years, Frederick Forsyth has been writing extraordinary real-world novels of intrigue, from the groundbreaking The Day of the Jackal to the prescient The Kill List. Whether writing about the murky world of arms dealers, the shadowy Nazi underground movement, or the intricacies of worldwide drug cartels, every plot has been chillingly plausible because every detail has been minutely researched.

Mr. Forsyth has no bounds in seeking his goals and having them meet his aspirations. My only unhappy takeaway from reading his memoir is that I probably will never personally meet him. I would gladly buy him a pint. What a life he has led!

Story
In 1984, a doomsday vault was constructed on a remote island in the Arctic Ocean. Its purpose was to preserve Earth's genetic history in the event of a global catastrophe. Now, decades later, a second vault has been uncovered, this one resting where no one ever expected. And the problem is it's not ours. Yet even more curious than the vault itself is what lies inside. Seeds. Millions of seeds. Each with a genetic embryo untouched and perfectly preserved. Waiting.

Fiction and action encounter each other and unite!
Reviewed: 02-03-25
It was a great experience as Dulce, Sally, Dirk and Allison unite and evolve. I cannot wait for the next part to find out what John is up to now. Scott’s performance was extraordinary allowing a peek behind the theatre curtain. How mammals actually interact with each other. I will follow through with the saga, holding my breath for the next chapter. Thank you.

The performance was a halting insufferable process that was not helped by the constant product placement. Sorry but I cannot slog through it.

The combination of Frank Herbert and Scott Brick is spectacular! The story develops slowly but leaves you in suspense throughout. The realism is palpable and even though it is far fetched Mr. Herbert somehow masterfully made it seem real. A great performance by Mr. Brick.

The performance was first rate and even though it was enchanting throughout and somewhat predictable I could not put it down. Great listen for the holidays. Thank you Mr Forsyth.

Story
Best-selling novelist Robert Littell employs all his considerable skills in telling the story of Kim Philby through the eyes of more than 20 true-life characters. When Kim Philby fled to Moscow in 1963, he became the most infamous double agent in history. A member of Britain's intelligence service since World War II, he had risen to become their chief officer in Washington, D.C. after the war. The exposure of other members of the group of double agents known as the Cambridge Five led to the revelation that he had been working for Russia for even longer than he had been part of MI6.
