Lots of commentary and small amount of techniques

Getting past the introduction, foreword, and the first two chapters is quite a task. It’s not until you get to chapter 3, but the author even begins to introduce actual techniques. Even then, there are chapters in chapters where there seems to be a lot of commentary and general information. It is also hard to tell which author is speaking. There’s not enough congruence in how the information is laid out. Halfway through the book, someone else’s journey begins. The information provided, when you get to it here and there, is good information.

This was a great read. Jen Sincero speaks in some raw language among the lines of a Steven Pressfield in his Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants To Be. No cuddly language or soft pedaling. My kind of inspiration.

If you enjoy science, based factual information, this book is a good read. There were a few tangents where the author drifted. Sometimes for the sake of humor. Other times, down the rabbit hole. If you are wondering if this book will tell you specifically what kinds of things you eat will kill you, find a different book. As a reader, I expected conclusions to the kinds of things that may not kill you, but our factually unhealthy for consumption. I was a little disappointed. Overall, it was an informative book.

Very detailed analysis. Good lectures that make you "really" think. OK, "really" was not necessary. I did learn something from the lectures. Lecture 9: Creating Emotions through Words was my favorite lecture. I purchased this book to write content ads and to improve my copywriting.

This was my first Brendon Burchard book. I will definitely read more of his work. Very inspiring. The six habits are very well explained along with real life experiences.

Insightful and straight forward. The book relates well with James Clear’s principles and a few of the principles of hypnotherapy.

The book description is not completely accurate in this readers opinion. The description says, “ Equip Yourself With the Tools to by Learning How to Budget, Save, Borrow, and Build Wealth.” The book does not provide the tools to really equip the reader with the skills to do these things. I purchased the book to get an insight on the author’s perspective. When the beginning of the book did not produce my expectations, I nearly stopped reading. However, I could not give the book an honest assessment without reading through the book. In reading the book, I did enjoy the author’s biographical perspectives as well as his philosophy on changing the disparities with wealth in this country. I was able to shift my expectations and review the book from that perspective. I appreciate the author’s perspective and his premise for writing the book. Although it is not a “how to” book. It is a book worthy of reading and understanding that the playing field must be leveled.
