Took me a bit to get in to it but this was a very cute story and I’m swooning over the hot firefighter with a heart of gold and the nerdy girl. The bonus epilogue cracked me up!!

I’m now in search of Savannah’s story, I wouldn’t mind ready about some of the brothers too.

I loved this one, and I can’t wait for more from Lucifer and his lady love. I’ve listened to David Brenin narrate other books and I find this to be one of my favorite of his performances. I think he suited this role perfectly.

Narration could be better

I read a lot of reviews about the dislike of the narrators performance. I can be pretty picky so I hesitated but I was engrossed in a binge read of this series and wanted to continue so I jumped in.

I agree that the narrator didn’t fit the character. She made Venus sound whiny during scenes I would picture the Venus I know, being more stoic or even sounding. Certainly not whinny. And she sounded older and sometimes frail for a vibrant, bad ass vampire. I’m sure the narrator would be fine for many books, but this wasn’t it.

A few times I did consider if it would be ok to skip this one and move on to the next one. But I’m glad I stuck with it because there was some important information and new characters that I think will show up again. I really hope to see Tiara again!!!

If you’re a fan of the series, listen to this one. Just be open to enjoying the story while ignoring the mismatch of the narrator.

This was another good book in the Hot Damned Series but it wasn’t my favorite. The narrator was decent but I couldn’t tell a lot of the characters apart. Luckily a lot of the story was from the 2 main characters interactions. I understand why Jessica wasn’t used to narrate this, since it’s from Heathcliff’s POV, but I missed being able to recognize who was speaking. But I enjoyed the story and will be starting the next book straight away.

This was a great addition to the series and let’s the reader see how Astrid and Ethan’s lives have changed since Sammy was born. There’s less humor than Astrid’s first two books but it still had Astrid’s famous potty mouth and attitude. I’ve already downloaded the next book in the series!

This box set container 3 stories about Las Vegas Collectors. Sort of crime fighters/enforcers for the supernatural set. Each of the 3 stories features a different couple and some sort of crime that needs solving or criminal that needs dealt with. I enjoyed all 3 of them and would listen to more books by this author and narrator.

I love these books so much that I had to get the box set too! I think I have them in all available forms, audio, paperback, ebooks, and now the audiobook box set! If that doesn’t tell you how good they are, idk what will.

It starts out with Kat, a single mother on a mission to find out more about her fathers death. It’s been years since he passed but the events still confuse her and she wants to know more. A clue leads her to an motorcycle clubhouse in Texas and the story unfolds from there.

My first book in this genre but not my last

This was my first book in in this genre but it won’t be my last. I’m particularly interested in reading more about the characters I met in this story and I hope more of them are turned in to audiobooks. I like the occasional historical romance but I’ve never listened to one set in in the USA before it was the USA. Nor have I listened to one featuring Native American characters. But I loved it!! The characters were well developed and interesting to follow. I loved the h’s personality and her loyalty to the memory of her late husband. I don’t know if the historical information was accurate but it felt realistic to me.

The narrator was perfect for this book. His accent suited the characters and the story perfectly. I would love to hear more books read by this narrator but sadly, there aren’t any to choose from.

A cute short story that leaves you satisfied despite its length. I listened to an audible interview with the author and it sounds like she’s still in college but I hope she’ll continue to write when she has time because she has a true gift.
