I can't help it! Gabaldon +Porter...spellbound to keep the story going and not stop! Thank you for releasing it right before a 4 day weekend!! But....I'm gonna kill you for the cliff hanger!
Gabaldon is worth the wait between books. History, adventure, mystery and suspense, with a bit of paranormal and romance and a lot of detail that you are able to picture it all in your own imagination. Whatever your genre, this series supplies.
I own all of her books in Audible and hard back, and I don't know how many times I've gone thru the series from the first book. Diane Gabldon does not disappoint...she can strain the patience though.

Too much unnecessary dialogue.
Reviewed: 10-16-21
In truth when I first started reading Hamiltons works, I really enjoyed that she put a lot of detail into her scenes. However, as I got further and further into each next installment, I found she spent more time shooting the breeze between characters to progress into the story. I felt that the story could have been written in half the pages and you would not loose out on any crucial information. The inflated prices to Hamilton works are a poor excuse to fill and thick book with "filler dialogue".
This story she did the same, a decent story over filled with unnecessary dialogue.
