Story
Jessica Martin is not a nice girl. As prom queen and captain of the cheer squad, she'd ruled her school mercilessly, looking down her nose at everyone she deemed unworthy. The most unworthy of them all? The "freak," Manson Reed: her favorite victim. But a lot changes after high school. A freak like him never should have ended up at the same Halloween party as her. He never should have been able to beat her at a game of Drink or Dare. He never should have been able to humiliate her in front of everyone.

Story
Chosen from birth to usher in a new era, Poppy’s life has never been her own. The life of the Maiden is solitary. Never to be touched. Never to be looked upon. Never to be spoken to. Never to experience pleasure. Waiting for the day of her Ascension, she would rather be with the guards, fighting back the evil that took her family, than preparing to be found worthy by the gods. But the choice has never been hers.

This snuck up on me, I did like it in the beginning but I will admit it took a few chapters to really pull me in. But once that happened, I couldn’t stop! This was full of twists, some I seen comings, others I really didn’t. So that made this exciting to read. I’ll definitely be diving into the second one quickly. The cliff hanger was wild!!!

Hands-down, this one was my favorite out of the series. The way the story began, and the way ended and everything in the middle was absolutely beautiful and raw. I cried so much during the story, I am not one to spoil, but I could’ve kept reading this. It could’ve been 1 million pages and it wouldn’t of been enough.

I loved this one so much!! I’m not a spoiler but I could’ve done without all the troupes surrounding Moor. She went from being my favorite character to almost my least favorite. I felt like the author went against all the character building she did for her. BUT with that aside, I genuinely enjoyed this book from beginning to end!

Oh boy! This was a lot, I didn’t joy it for the fact it delivered on shock factor. I definitely thought the story was going one way, and it ended in a totally different way. I don’t want to give away too much, but this story was disturbing yet very intriguing. I could not stop listening to it. I would definitely spend the credit, but again it is disturbing.

Story
Piranesi lives in the House. Perhaps he always has. In his notebooks, day after day, he makes a clear and careful record of its wonders: the labyrinth of halls, the thousands upon thousands of statues, the tides that thunder up staircases, the clouds that move in slow procession through the upper halls. On Tuesdays and Fridays Piranesi sees his friend, the Other. At other times he brings tributes of food to the Dead. But mostly, he is alone.

Story
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.
