Story
Every day, you have an opportunity to use your voice to have a positive impact - at work or in your community. You can inspire and persuade your audience - or you can distract and put them to sleep. Nervous, rambling robotic - these presentation styles can ruin a talk on even the most critical topics. And with each weak performance, career prospects dim. To get ahead and make an impact, you need to deliver well-crafted messages with confidence and authenticity. You must sound as capable as you are.

Great work and a must tool to manage conflict
Reviewed: 09-17-19
Great instruction about the types of communication and how to communicate in challenging situations without conflict. I consider my communication now far more mature with both my family and my colleges.
I will say it is a long read and I started it thinking this was going to be a bit wishy-washy, but I now see my self thinking about the way I communicate and see more productive effort from my team.

Everything Is Negotiable

Story
In Everything Is Negotiable, Meg Myers Morgan deconstructs preconceived notions about adulthood, parenthood, and career paths that have us limiting ourselves. Instead of following that linear plan, for example, she urges listeners to take action now for what we want - limitations be damned. With wit and verve, Morgan also tells us to forget trying to "have it all", as the cliche phrase goes - it'll never happen. And, Morgan argues, don't bother trying to give 100 percent - we simply can't give anything 100 percent attention, ever!

It is well written, I did get a good perspective, but as a bloke, I probably would not have got this book if I had known what it was about.

These folks were some of the top performing humans in the world, people who had changed their areas of study or even pioneered entirely new fields. Dave wanted to know: What did they have in common? What mattered most to them? What makes them so successful at what they do - and what makes them happiest?
