NOAH!
Reviewed: 03-01-23
I really enjoyed reading this book but the narration version took it over the top. Noah, oh Noah! I think he's my new book boyfriend! Had a hard time stopping the narration, especially when it was NSFW! Kate Canterbury never disappoints in her writing or selection of narrators for her books. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to the next release.

Story
I've got everything it takes to make it in Tinseltown: confidence, charisma, and a killer chin. Now all I need is a chance. But Los Angeles is full of hot young hunks, and talent might not be enough to separate me from the cookie-cutter crowd. So I devise a wild scheme to get noticed. Pretend I’m someone I'm not—good-bye Will O’Connell of Cincinnati and hello Liam O’Connell of Dublin. "Liam" and his talent with accents is enough to get my foot in the door, but I never anticipated meeting the woman who has me more worried about keeping my foot out of my mouth.

LOVED THIS!

I bought the book first but refrained from reading. I was so anxious to hear it first on Audible. It did NOT disappoint. Joe does a fantastic job of bringing his words to life. I would gladly listen to Liam again should he show up in another book. Maxine "interludes" were unexpected but really fit perfect in the story. Kudos Joe and please get busy and write/narrate another story soon!

I am retired law enforcement support. 21 years as a telecommunicator (dispatch) and 21 years in the office as a clerk. This book resonated with me personally. The banter between Rowdy and Michelle was realistic and fun. He's so tortured but she doesn't let that stop her from being herself. Oh! I loved Kenneth!

First time I've listened to Jill Redfield. Maybe she meant to sound like a bad B movie seductress but I didn't buy it. I literally skipped over her sexy parts to listen to Teddy. I've listened to him many times. Guess it was the story line but even he couldn't make it sound good.

Jasper-Anne Cleary’s guide to salvaging your life when you find yourself publicly humiliated, out of work, and unemployable at 35 - not to mention newly single: 1. Run away. Seriously, there’s no shame in disappearing. Go to that rustic old cottage your aunt left you. Look out for the colony of bats and the leaky roof. Oh, and the barrel-chested neighbor with shoulders like the broad side of a barn. Definitely look out for him....

It's Kate Canterbary so I love this book. Zachary has become one of my go to narrators. I love his interpretations of characters and situations. This was my first read by Jo Raylan and well not so sure I would listen again. I had to turn up the volume on her chapters and go back to relisten to some of the passages. I had a hard time understanding her. But if Kate uses her again I will buy.

Story
The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

Story
The first time a woman stepped out of a painting, I thought I was seeing things. The second time, I thought I was going mad. The night she emerged from a Renoir, I felt something else entirely -- a deep stirring of desire, and the wish to get to know the brilliant beauty who's been trapped inside a painted garden for years. She can only come out at night in the Musée d'Orsay, where I work. There, after hours, we wander through galleries, with the Van Goghs, the Monets, and the Toulouse Lautrecs the only witnesses to our midnight kisses and, soon, our trysts.

I did not read this book prior to listening and I'm glad I didn't. Shane East, no words! His narration captivated me and lead me into a fantasy world with glimpses of reality. I enjoyed the mystery and was held with the thought of would they/could they be together. Thanks Lauren for another wonderful novel and a step away from the usual.

Every man knows there are lines you don't cross. Like this one - don't bang your boss' little sister. Too bad I didn't know sexy, clever, irresistible London is related to the guy who signs my paychecks. Would have been helpful to have that intel before I took her out on that first date, before I kissed her on the beach, before I made plans to take her home that night.

I read this book first (after reading KLV's story about James and you should read it first. An Earl in Winter)and couldn't wait to buy the audio. First, I'm I HUGE Kathryn LeVeque fan, creator of the DeLohr family. So this was a natural for me. Shane was the perfect voice for Jonathan. I'm still swooning. Wish he would do more KLV books. First time listening to Stella. Her voice was very pleasant to listen to. I would listen again.

Every bartender should follow one simple rule—don't go home with the customers. That’s been easy for me to stick to, until the night a cocky, confident, and sinfully charming hockey star walks into my bar. This sexy athlete is too hard to resist, especially when he makes it clear how much he wants the “sarcastic, witty, hot AF” guy behind the bar—also known as me.
