I have wanted this book since Lauren first mentioned working on it. After getting the chance to listen to an early copy, I can say without a doubt, that this book is everything I had hoped it would be and more! It was a story full of sexy flirting, unexpected romance and fantastic banter between all of the characters, most especially between the heroes. Basically everything a Lauren Blakely book always has. Fantastic characters that you fall in love with and words that make you feel all the feels. Lauren never disappoints me in the way she writes her stories. Always so full of emotion, humor and let’s not forget sexiness.

I cannot say enough about the performances by Shane East and Joe Arden. The duet style narration was the perfect format for this story and these guys really took it to a whole other level. On a few occasions they even made me cry with their emotional performances. Every line was delivered so naturally and full of steaminess, every single time. Shane and Joe were made to perform Lauren’s sexy as hell banter. Shane's tone of voice seemed a little different than usual too, in a good way.

A favorite scene occurred between Dean and his father. It was such a wonderful father/son moment and Shane East and Ronnie Butler acted out the scene beautifully. Ronnie may have had a small part but it definitely had a huge impact in the story.

All of the side characters in the cast were also fantastic! Vanessa, Jakobi, Ronnie, Vikas, Emma, Zach, Stella and Maxine! I loved them all, but my favorite was Vanessa because I just adored Maeve. And Jakobi as Sam. And…Oh hell, I just adored them all.

I will be listening to this again and again! You’re gonna want to buy this book.

Sexy, passionate, and intense, A Guy Walks Into My Bar is an utterly addictive standalone MM romance. Fitz and Dean had crackling chemistry and their scorching hot sexy times almost melted my kindle. I loved their witty banter and flirty tease and their interactions were so natural and easy. I had an amazing time watching how they navigated from insta-love into an all-encompassing relationship. The sexy bartender and cocky hockey star had ensnared me the entire time and I would highly recommend this fun swoony MM romance.

Joe and Shane are both my favourite performers and together they are phenomenal. I have no words for this masterpiece.

Holy wow!!!! I absolutely adore Shane East and Joe Arden as Dean and Fitz!! What an incredibly beautiful love story!!!!This audiobook is Aaaaahhhhhh-mazing in every way possible!!! Spectacularly Perfect!!!! And I totally agree Love is Love and love that it is a message delivered prior to the start of the story.
This is absolutely delicious!! Fitz and Dean our two heroes are simply EVERYTHING!!!!! Their story is just so incredibly romantic! I adore them and the way they flirt and interact with each other, and I mean come on, a sexy hockey player and a hot British bartender/bar owner, you are killing me with my own fantasies Lauren Blakely!!
Shane and Joe are two of my fave male narrators so having them play these two amazing men was delightful!! I was truly blown away by how much they brought every single thing they were feeling and ALL of the emotions of this amazing story to life. There is actually a full cast who narrate the other supporting characters in the book and they too do a wonderful job. I loved Maeve in particular!
Dean, our sexy British bartender/bar owner is sweet, swoony, sarcastic/cheeky and fun. Fitz, our hot American hockey player is fun, super flirtatious and oh so cocky but not in an awful way, it's actually oddly endearing. Charisma oozes from both of them and they are both so playful and witty and also have amazing personalities. The two meet, when you guessed it, Fitz walks into Dean’s bar in London. After some time that is loaded with flirty, sexy and very witty banter, they agree to a no strings fling for the short duration that Fitz is there. This is the perfect scenario for these men who are wildly attracted to each other but are not looking for anything serious. But we all know how that goes. I love the friendship and relationship that develops between them in between all the passion. And let me tell you, these are some seriously passionate men which certainly makes for some molten hot steamy scenes for us to enjoy! I mean easily five-alarm fire hot!
But what happens when Fitz has to return to the states and hockey season starts? And Dean, who has his bar and responsibilities in London? Can this possibly be more than a fling with the pond that lies between them?
Two of the swooniest heroes ever narrated by two of the best male narrators and amazing supporting characters only add more fuel to this 5 star read! And all of those amazing epilogues honestly added so much more to the story, which I didn't think possible, for more than just our heroes, and they were perfect!! The bonus scene and outtakes were fantastic!!!!!
I hope this is the first of many M/M books for this author as she clearly has the right stuff for it!! And I also vote that Joe and Shane narrate them all!! Bravo!!

I was so excited when I saw that Lauren Blakely was writing a M/M romance! I first met Fitz in Blakely's 'The What If Guy' and couldn't wait to read more about him. Fitz is visiting his sister in London, when he instantly connects with the sexy bar owner, Dean, while they were out one night. Dean doesn't date customers and he definitely isn't looking for a relationship. But he finds the sexy, american hockey player irresistible, so when they keep running into each other in London, he can't say no to a 'no strings attached' fling with him. Fitz isn't looking for more either after having his heart broken before. But He and Dean have fun together, click in so many ways, and their chemistry is off the charts hot! They begin to spend all their time together, knowing there is an end date when Fitz flies home. What happens when a week of fun starts to become more, and their hearts become involved, but their lives are on different continents? This book was special in so many ways, from the amazing writing, great characterization, clever story line, and a passionate romance between Fitz and Dean. I loved the connection between these two apparent opposites as both men struggled with their intense feelings, trying to resist falling for each other. But the fire blazing between them was too strong and their whirlwind romance turns into a love that is so tender, and absolutely beautiful.
Shane East, and Joe Arden, along with a supporting cast, were absolutely brilliant bringing these characters, and story to life. East and Arden were so perfectly cast as Dean and Fitz. They gave these men such warmth, humor, and passion, and made me feel their love in the purest way. I enjoyed all the talented narrators in this multi cast narration but it was East and Arden's performance that completely captivated me. This is by far my favorite performance by them both. They helped to make this witty, totally irresistible, smoking hot, and super sweet romance audio gold!

One last note about the narration...
I'm a fan of both narrators and have listened to a ton of their work, and this is the best performance I've ever heard from both Joe and Shane. Hell yeah.

I have been reading Lauren Blakely for the last two years, My sister turned me on to the Kendle hen MY husband died. When I recieved this book I was on cloud 9. I had Four amazing Gay Friends before I meet my husband. This book took me back to those days when w ewould hang out,party go to Art Fairs the whole nine yards. The bottom line out of 192 books that I have gotten on Kendle in the last two years this is my 3rd best ever. I have lessoned to this book four times. I have cried, laughed and went to another place. thank you Lauren, thank you

So.... everyone who loves a hot and steamy romance needs to give this a listen. This is not your ordinary romance, being MM and all--- but I had all the feelings while I listened (even though I am a long married heterosexual woman). There was the flirt, anticipation, love and yearning you want in a contemporary romance story. If only this world of acceptance without hate or bias really existed.... we want and need it Lauren Blakely! The cast was incredible and the sexy scenes....Whoa baby... I totally burst into flames! Shane East and Joe Arden are cheeky and sexy at the same time! The rest of the cast just made this story come to life. PLEASE MORE DUET STORIES! If you love a Lauren Blakely story, you will love this ---no matter who you love.
