What a gifted author, with such wickedly almost surgical insight to the human mind and behavior. Each of the stories is different and while I may not have liked them all - I respect them all for being psychological masterpieces. Please keep writing. You are a gift.

Story
From the woman who is credited for launching what we know as the celebrity-focused, “brand”-driven, social-media-obsessed popular culture of today comes an honest and surprising memoir that reckons with that truth, and shows that there is so much more to Paris Hilton than you might believe.

My advice:
But this book (the extended edition)
Read it. Listen to it. Absorb it by osmosis – whatever suits you.
You won’t regret it.
Paris Hilton soars like an angel with a gloriously well-honed edge in this epic memoir. With her unique voice, incisive intelligence and rare ability to balance raw and vulnerable honesty with a singular blend of grace and class, Paris once again proves that there is SO much more to her than meets the eye.
From the beautiful, young reality TV star and supermodel of her youth to the equally stunning, wise, generous, and powerhouse family woman, mogul and living example of resilience, power, and great wit she has become today, I am confident this blockbuster of a book will be simply one of many highpoints in the life of a modern icon who also manages to be so wonderfully human, relatable, and authentic.

Story
For nearly two decades, Jamie Warren has been running from darkness. He's haunted by a traumatic childhood and the guilt at having disappeared from his disabled brother's life. But then a series of unusual events reunites him with his estranged brother and their childhood friends, and none of them can deny the sense of fate that has seemingly drawn them back together. Nor can they deny the memories of that summer, so long ago—the strange magic taught to them by an even stranger man, and the terrible act that has followed them all into adulthood.

Story
Once upon a time, long, long ago, in a land far, far away, there lived a very manly king, who had only one son who was named Arron. This prince was not as manly as the king might have liked; indeed, he was quite certain the lad had no taste for princesses. In fact he noticed the way his son's gaze lingered on comely stable boys and many of the handsome knights of his court.

As her family lay dying, little Libby fled their tiny farmhouse into the freezing January snow. She lost some fingers and toes, but she survived, and famously testified that her 15-year-old brother, Ben, was the killer. Twenty-five years later, Ben sits in prison, and troubled Libby lives off the dregs of a trust created by well-wishers who've long forgotten her.

I fell in love with the characters and with the setting. The story was dynamic, compelling, mysterious, and thrilling. I didn’t know the culprit’s identity fairly early on, but my unusual perception does not reflect poorly on the story. If this is a series I will be reading more.

Then they view Cold Hill House, a dilapidated rural mansion, and fall instantly in love. It's expensive, but with its space, seclusion, and huge grounds, it seems like a brilliant idea. That is, until they arrive. It soon becomes apparent that they are not alone. A spectral woman appears on screens and walks the corridors, vanishing before she can be challenged.
