This was much more sad than the other two books I’ve read by this author. But I still liked it. She can tell a good story.

Wasn’t as funny as NO ROMEO, which I loved. But it was still cute. Looking forward to the next installment. I love a food accidental pregnancy trope.

This author doesn't pay attention to the math in her books. By that I mean, she wrote that Marion and her husband were married for eleven years when they separated (ten years ago). But there was no custody issue because their child was an adult? How does that happen in eleven years? Unless the divorce became final after seven years, or their child was born before the marriage, there is no way the child was an adult.

Then Charlie tells Rowan that she moved from the island when she was a teen (and in previous books she said she was sixteen) and lived in Seattle for fifteen years, that would make her thirty-one years of age. But she and Zoe keep talking about not being in their thirties yet.

In every book, on every television show, in every movie, how do people not know someone is in their back seat? I have a light that comes on every time my car door is open. There is no way anyone would be able to hide in my back seat.

These are the things that bug me to no end in a series like this. Anyway... let's hope the next installment is better.

***Minor spoiler - Don't read any further if you don't want to know***

I'm actually not really sure why I liked this. I think all the back and forth drama was interesting to me. I really wanted to know Angel and Axel's connection and why they hate each other so much. I think I figured it out right away though. I think the author could have made the connection between them a bit more vague, but I get what she was trying to do.

I also want to know how Conner and Bea know each other. Hopefully that will come up in the next book.

I agree with another reviewer who said that Angel/Axel, Conner/Silver, Nate/Hardy seem to be interchangeable and not distinguished enough to know them apart. Similar personalities and types in each pack. would have been a bit more interesting if they were very different. The only thing is, Conner seems to have a European accent and no one has said why that is.

That all being said, I'm still interested to get the next audible installment and figure out what the heck is going on. LOL

Sweet and funny with some hilarious moments thrown in. I can’t wait for the other Sullivan’s stories. Hoping to get the Kings as well at some point.

I want to know more about the origins of the feud and why it’s gone on for so long.

Loved Penny!

**SPOILER ALERT**

It’s taking a little too long to get to the point now. This one was also a little predictable. I mean who, as an adult, goes for a walk in the snow and ends up miles away because they weren’t paying attention?

I wasn’t as pleased with this story. There was a lot of jumping to conclusions and not paying attention. The character has always been more adept than this in past installments. I guess it could be because of her finding some things out about her past, but I think that’s an easy excuse.

Let’s see what happens next.

I’m very intrigued about what is to come. I love the undertone of a story about Sloan’s background. Although I understand that Sloan is dealing with her divorce, I’m also ready for the relationship between Sloan and Garrett to proceed. Looking forward to the next installment.

I liked the first book in the series, and wanted to know more about Kayla’s “perfect” sister, Kara. But this one didn’t really do it for me.

I’m also not the biggest fan of the female narrator. Some of her inflections are just over the top.

Oh well… can’t love them all.

This one was very different from the first book in the series. In the first book, there's stalking, kidnapping, snarky comments, enemies-to-lovers, etc. There was so much in that one, that this book was very disappointing. Though the sad parts were well done and made me cry, the rest of the book I found just ho-hum. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen and it never did. Bummer.

So sad how the family keeps loosing members. I wasn’t going to read/listen to the Carly Moore series, but this story made me want to dive in once I finish Rose Gardner Investigations.
