Story
When one of Santa's reindeer meets a grisly end during the annual A Downtown Dickens Christmas Festival, Rue realizes her enemies are closing in on her location, and Samford will pay the price. But when one creature turns into two, and two into three, and then three into four, Rue knows the problem is bigger than a singular threat to her new hometown. And that's before a holiday shopper strolls into Hollis Apothecary claiming to be a long-lost relative. Of her father's.

i loved the book. i like the story, which is why im on book 3 but the narrator's voice is not for me. her male voices sounded like a little girl imitating her dads voice. overall it took time to get through because i can only take so much at a time 😂

Story
Magic, romance, and adventure collide in Wandfasted, the irresistible prequel to The Black Witch: When they painted Heretics on our barn and set fire to it, I thought that was the worst it could get. Until they sent the dragons. But they didn't count on us having dragons of our own. And they certainly didn't count on Her. Our Great Mage. The Bringer of Fire. The Storm of Death. The Crow Sorceress. Our Deliverance. The Black Witch.

Story
For centuries, the vineyards at Château Renard have depended on the talent of their vine witches, whose spells help create the world-renowned wine of the Chanceaux Valley. Then the skill of divining harvests fell into ruin when sorcière Elena Boureanu was blindsided by a curse. Now, after breaking the spell that confined her to the shallows of a marshland and weakened her magic, Elena is struggling to return to her former life. And the vineyard she was destined to inherit is now in the possession of a handsome stranger.

it had a lot of blah reviews but i really liked it. it was well written and the story was very entertaining. it drew me in and kept me in. im glad i gave it a shot despite the reviews. . . One thing i will say is that i don't really care for the narrator's voice. I thought that she was very breathy but that's just my preference. overall good read 👍

My name is Lexi Cameron, and until three weeks ago, I thought I was human. It was all a lie. I’m a demon, and I’m signed up to attend The Demon Academy. I soon find out it’s the darkest, cruelest school around, and not many survive a full year, let alone three. Welcome to DA, where, unless you are a high demon, you can expect to be treated like trash.

A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.
