I liked the story overall but thought the reactions of the main characters to the kidnapping of a child and death of family were unrealistic. A missing child would be devastating. Also, family member passes and no real emotion. I figured out the identity of the villain pretty quickly but still enjoyed.

Story
It starts as a prank - a way to blow off steam after a long summer at Camp Horseshoe. Among the teen counselors, tensions and hormones are running high. No wonder the others agree when Jo-Beth Chancellor suggests they scare Monica O'Neal a little.... or a lot. Monica has it coming, and no one will really get hurt. What could go wrong? Everything.

The book was good, has a lot of characters so sometimes hard to keep track of who people are. The story was good but the ending was rushed. I felt like the author decided it was time to wrap up and didn’t put tons of effort or explanation into it. Overall good listen.

Story
Emerson, Georgia, and Marley have been best friends ever since they met at a weight-loss camp as teens. When Emerson tragically passes away, she leaves one final wish for her best friends: to conquer the fears they still carry as adults. For Marley, it's coming to terms with the survivor's guilt she's carried around since her twin sister's death, which has left her blind to the real chance for romance in her life. For Georgia, it's learning to stop trying to live up to her mother's and brother's ridiculous standards and learning to accept love.

The story is about 3 women with weight issues and body image issues. Discusses how they feel and how they think or know people see them. The story is a little sad but also positive. Most romance novels are about the perfect size 6 lady, the men can be good looking or Almost good looking but, the women always seem perfect, which most of us know is unrealistic. I wasn’t sure I was really interested in the book but really enjoyed. Probably one of my favorites by this author.

What Jack needs is an excuse to leave town. Ever since rescuing four teenagers from a car wreck, he's been hailed as a hero and the attention is making him itchy, especially since his too-pretty ex-wife is back, angling for a reunion. He's always liked Emmaline. She needs a weekend date? No problem. So when they wind up in bed together, Em chalks it up to red wine and chocolate cake, just one impulsive night not to be repeated. But Jack's pushing for more.

The story line was OK. I would have liked better with a different narrator, didn’t care for her voice. Like this authors books but this is probably my least favorite so far.

This book really didn’t have much of a plot. A woman is scared from an accident, she creates a new identity and won’t leave her house for 2 years. Really no reason why she would do this. Another story line is about a woman with a son, her estranged husband is going to kidnap the son and next thing you know, he turns his life around and wants to be a good co parent. I kept waiting for something to happen but never did.

Story
Adams County, Alabama, is a friendly place where everyone knows each other—but not well enough, it seems. Someone among them is a serial killer who first romances, then stalks, kidnaps, and kills his victims. It's the first big case for sheriff Bernie Granger, and a chance to prove herself to her new partner, Memphis police detective Jim Norton. But this killer is uncannily smart. It's as if he knows what Bernie is thinking. And his next move is more than shocking—it's chillingly personal.

Story
Back in college, Jane Lewis would have given anything to be like homecoming queen Connie Bryan. Instead she was just Plain Jane - overweight, frumpy, and painfully shy. That was then. Today, a lovely and confident Dr. Jane Lewis has a thriving psychotherapy practice, her own radio talk show, a beautiful old Louisiana mansion, and her affectionate, nutty dog, Olive, to keep her company. The only thing missing is someone to share her life.
