It was very hard to discern which character were speaking. It would have been better if the narrator shows different voices to show the different main characters. To tell you the truth the story was pretty good but not as good as her curl up and dye series

Dare Buckley has come home - or at least, he's come back to Palladian, the small town he left as a teenager. After a major lapse in judgment forced him to resign from the Seattle PD, Palladian is the only place that'll hire him. There's one benefit to hitting rock bottom, though: the chance to investigate the mystery of his father's suicide.

Story
Even during the holidays, Shannon is more spackle than sparkle, which is why she leaps at the chance to transform a grand old Victorian mansion into 10 charming apartments for homeless families. Filled with the spirit of the season, all of Lighthouse Cove turns out to help - including her best friends, a troupe of far-from-angelic Santa Claus impersonators, and her father, Jack. But their merriment is soon dashed by a heated scuffle between Jack and the miserly president of the bank who's backing the project.

It’s ok but not great
Reviewed: 02-28-18
Firstly, this recording held a lot of errors and sentences repeated in different voices as if the narrator was confused about who was speaking.
Secondly, the story was more disjointed than the rest of the series. This felt as if I was reading an abridged version.
Lastly, I didn’t buy that it would snow in a California coastal town.

Story
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Story
As the landlord of The Dragon's Lair and leader of The Black Dragons Motorcycle Club, Axel Carmichael has seen it all and done it all. He's a respected and experienced dom. Nothing shocks him anymore, and nobody catches him off guard. When Bayden rides up to The Dragon's Lair on a bike worth more than most men earn in a year, and immediately demonstrates that he has far more attitude than sense, it's easy for Axel to write him off as a silly little rich boy who's about to get himself killed.

For a long time I wasn't ready to read this book. The first chapter was intimidating to me. I couldn't have been more wrong. We all like to think what we would do in certain circumstances but don't actually know until we there. This is a wonderful examination, masterfully written by a well missed acclaimed author. Trust me just read it.
