A well entertained sport romance!

Tiller and Mikey's story is filled with pleasurable drama. I totally emerged myself with these two characters. Being able to smile throughout the reading of this story was so uplifting. The narrator's voice fit each and every character to perfection. I allowed his voice to take me away on this amazing journey, during the reading of the story. The Jock and the twink went together like smooth tea with honey ☕ 🍯. I so highly recommend for anyone who wants to relax while enjoying an entertaining story this one is for you. ENJOY!

Zero Angst! All the feels!

Total comfort read!
This made me feel warm and happy.
The MC’s were perfect—be OK with this and you’ll be OK with the book.
The plot—some parts were tough to swallow, but if you roll with it, this book is delightful!
Virgins
Low steam
Lots of feels!

There were a couple of plot points that troubled me:
—NFL team doesn’t have nutritionists on staff? Of course, if they did, then there would be no story.
—after the injury, the PT doesn’t play into the story till later (or it does but were nit told about it). Odd for a pro NFL player.

great listen

This book is sweet and spicy. It's a bit of a slow burn that really takes off halfway into the book. The second half is so good with much more character and relationship development. This is my second listen to the series, and I realized I hadn't left a review on the first go around. 😅 The remaining three books are excellent and some of my favorite MM romances. Narration by Michael Dean is fantastic as usual.

Love this series already!

I am already in love with this series!!! Tiller and Mikey are very fun characters, and their story is a fun read/ listen with some emotional moments as well. I like the cast of characters and look forward to learning more about them in future books.

So sweet and now I await the next book

This story was great I did feel unsatisfied with the ending only because I wanted more retribution for the way Mikey was treated by his family. And really of ALL the teams in the NFL you had to pick on the Bills.... As I lifelong bills fan I feel my journey is hard enough eiyh out my book escapes reminding me of our failures. Just saying. But I did love this book and need the next one asap

Great start of the new series 🍾

I loved this book very much ‼️ I’ve been a fan of Lucy’s books for over a year now and she does not disappoint - all of her stories are honest, so heartfelt and beautiful - they are making me laugh and sometimes cry, I know: if I want to have a great time - I gotta to for Lucy’s book.

Raine and Mikey. Adorable couple.

Loved this story. Great continuing series. Mikey is a single guy who’s is the chef for several pro ball players. He ends up working for Raine for 5 years before the two finally come to the conclusion that they belong together. Love these two.

Lucy Lennox at her best!

Such a wonderful love story. Both the protagonists were fantastic! Very well crafted!

I do have to say that Michael Dean's narration was... distracting. (Michael, I don't know you, but I love you, and you definitely have a great talent. An amazing range of inflections and masterful tones, but...) Michael's voice is a cross between Paul Lynde and Martha Stewart. Or something. Whatever it is, in my opinion it's not a voice that's suited to a m/m romance. It just was... distracting. He made the characters sound a lot different than I "heard" them in my mind when I read the Kindle version.

A swoony steamy beautiful love story

Oh the feels in this book - one minute I was laughing, the next I was swooning, then gasping, and then I was crying. The way the main characters’ feelings for each other were portrayed was palpable and heart warming. Michael Dean did a fantabulous job on the narration. Tiller Raine is a star football player who is also gay. Mikey Vining has been Tiller’s personal chef and assistant for five years. He’s also gay. Despite having feelings for each other neither one acts on it until they spend time out of state together because Tiller is injured. Thus the beautiful dance toward their HEA is finally started. There is a lot of past stuff and hurdles that they both have to unpack on the way and this is portrayed perfectly with witty dialogue, characters with depth, and an engaging storyline. This was a swoony, fun, sweet, steamy, heart warming story with low angst. I am adoring this wonderful town and this series. I cannot wait to read about the next Aster Valley couple.
