I’m a new fan. I was nervous about the depression plot others hinted at bc I need my books to be uppers not downers but this was fantastic. As others mentioned, this story finally gave light to the “social battery” that many of us( yes… me too) have to recharge. I also appreciate the notion that sometimes the darkness is just a place to stop… and find a center… Not something that has to consume all corners of a persons life. Anyway, love love love. Even cried. I’m a consumer of over 1000 happy stories and I write reviews once in a blue moon. Muah

5 stars but I really would have liked more time together before the HEA. I wanted to know more about their life together, businesses growing, sharing life with Toby…. Ect. 5 stars but not in my favorites

The first 1/3 of the book I didn’t feel connected to Darcey or Max. Such a casual relationship it seemed. Once Dex was added it felt like he had a relationship with only Max so the dynamic just didn’t feel balanced. Still an interesting storyline and I love me some Will Watt.

This was an Audible Plus free listen so the bar was low but this turned out to be a great listen. I thought I was getting boss/employee but it turned into a childhood friends troupe and I loved it. Muah.

Wow, the 3rd person narration was particularly rough because actually named were used so often instead of “he” or “she”. “Kennedy laughed. Kennedy looked across the table. Kennedy noticed Kate picking up her fork.”- this isn’t an actually quote but it seemed like this so it never felt personal.

This story was entertaining and I stuck with it until the end. Upon a second listen, I just couldn’t again because the guy was just too controlling. For me, that’s just not love.

I love that RD’s stories are heavy on the romance with just enough story context. I enjoyed learning about this new world but my take away is the male narrator. He was awesome. His voices matched each character flawlessly!!!! Well done sir.

Uh, no. I just can’t with this one. I just got the ick from their relationship. I enjoyed Caleb’s story but this one missed the mark for me.

I skipped this story originally because the plot seemed too much like a movie that I didn’t enjoy. I have been in a bit of a rut with stories lately and just gave this one a click. So glad I did. The insta-love was a little much for me in the beginning but the rest of the story was unique and emotional. Loved

Little less mature than Mother Faker

I really enjoyed Mother Faker so I was super excited for a reboot with this one- seemed like the same premise. The only wrench in that plan was the maturity of the FMC. In this story, the FMC seemed more concerned with the opinions of everyone around her EXCEPT her main man. Some things just didn't add up and were a little cringe. The FMC just did NOT think things through- girlfriend is constantly naked (or having an orgasm) in public and dyes her hair without remembering she was growing it out for a year for a purpose. Just didn't vibe. I will keep Mother Faker in my favorites list and I might revisit this one when I wanna hear about this fun group of people again.
