Wow. This is a compelling, compassionate and engaging version of a story I have heard many times, but never in this way. Never has it felt so approachable or close. I don’t want to give too much of the composition away, but will say that the ending could not be better.

I loved this book. It's a quick listen that is easily devoured in one or two sittings (or dog walks in my case). For anyone who ever tried to improve anything about themselves (is there anyone, other than sociopaths, who haven't?). This book resonates, entertains, and progresses to an excellent finish. Well worth the read.

Not for me. To depressing.
I thought it would pick up, maybe it does after a couple of hours, but it is slow and tediously written. Surprisingly tepid for Liane Moriarty, whose writing I usually love.

This is darker than I had imagined. A great listen. Maybe I’ll skip the next Christmas party invite. Eek.

Fun characters, a few twists, great narration. Worth a listen. Entertaining and light enough to keep you company while walking the doggo.

Meh! I was expecting something more exciting. This never really got going. Great narration, but it was rather dull.

I listened to this book over a few morning walks with my Wire-Haired Fox Terrier, Pierre.
It is sweet, kind, and observant, with some key takeaways on what we can look for and learn from our dog friends.
Cesar is not afraid to be real and vulnerable in his storytelling, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who has an affinity with their pup.
The narrator is good too. He sounds nothing like Cesar, which initially seemed like a strange choice. But, his voice is warm and soothing, so it worked well.

The Spice Girls were heavily featured on the soundtrack of my teens and early twenties.
Hearing Mel C talk about her struggles and triumphs—and tracksuits, in her own words made me feel empathetic and nostalgic.

Her story takes you on a journey that is at once heart-wrenching and optimistic. Ultimately Mel C shows great perseverance and Sporty Spice high-kicking spirit. It is an honest depiction of 90's pop; hard work, insane schedules, Top of the Pops, and some life revelations (no spoilers here). There are some themes you would expect and quite a few that added more depth than I expected. Bravo!

The story was meh. The narration was great (Julia Whelan is aweosme). I just finished and will instantly forget the story and characters. Not worth a listen.
