Story
When Dorothy Thompson returns to Cherish, SC, to play piano for her brother’s wedding, memories and fear nearly paralyzes her fingers. If anyone she knew back in high school discovers her secret, the whispers will start. Fake. Fraud. Failure. It’s not as if she can blame God for her troubles. No, she did that all by herself. But, remembering His lessons, she’s fighting to get back on track. All she can do is pray the wedding vocalist—her brother’s friend Ryan, a rising opera star—won’t notice the way her hands shake. When Ryan Edwards sets foot inside a church for the first time in years, he’s no longer the pitiable kid from the poor side of town, but someone who’s made it on his own. Without God’s help—not that He ever cared about misfits like Ryan, anyway.

Story
Owning a candy store should be a fun and delightful profession. Besides, what candy could beat Sally’s Elliot’s signature coffee chocolate fudge? None, except for the unique infusion candy she designed for Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the signature chocolate required for the candy won’t be delivered on time. No problem. She’ll pick up the order herself.

Yes, I loved this story. It is a delightful sweet clean story of a sheltered mountain girl. Her first venture into town, and then the adventure(s) truly begins. The narrators voice had me picturing Nichol much like a Debbie Reynolds in a Tammy movie. This story is part of series but can be thoroughly enjoyed as a stand-a-lone read.

Loved listening to this story. A pleasure to listen to a good Christian story… but if you are not a person of faith.. don't let that stop you from experiencing this story. There is a bit of violence but it is not too graphic. And, there are some smiles and chuckles, too! Happy Reading !!

Story
While promoting her next novel, a Christmas love story, author Riley Reynolds is caught off guard when she’s asked during a live national television interview how she can write about romance when she still hasn’t found “the one” herself. Scrambling for an answer, she quickly answers that she has had great love in her past and that love inspired her novels. Little does she know that this one offhanded remark will turn her world upside down. Three of her ex-boyfriends see the interview, and each, believing she’s talking about him, shows up for her Christmas Camp book event.

I loved this unabridged audiobook story. If things in Riley's life went smoothly—there would not have been much to write about. The bumps in the road truly can make life interesting. And when they happen to someone else, those bumps can be quite funny. I am very glad this audiobook is a member of my library. A Worthy Read. Happy Reading ! !

I have read this audiobook a few times, but had never posted a review.. Shame on me. If you like stories that break your heart and then put it back together again.. you will love this story. Splurge and get the audiobook, you will be glad you did. I have yet to listened to one of Donna’s books, that she narrates herself, that I have not listened to more than a few times. They have all been great and I need to give them all another listen, soon!! Happy Reading ! !
NOTE: I own a copy of this audiobook and this review expresses my honest opinion.

A MUST READ !!
Oh, my, I was going to listen only for a few minutes, maybe the first couple of chapters… but I could not stop listening until I ran out of recorded narration. Thus it was the middle of the night when I reached the end of this recording. I was glad I was listening to this story because there were times that the tears were flowing to the extent that I would not been able to see the written words. Yes, tears flowed when my heart broke with sadness for so many differing reasons, and tears flowed for the joys recounted within this story. How I managed to never cross paths with this story before is beyond my understanding. I must say if you have never read this audiobook or a print version, you have missed a truly great read… and if you have read this story, maybe it is time to read it once again. Oh, and be sure to read what the author has to say after the story is completed for some very interesting information.. Happy Reading ! ! Happy LISTENING ! !
