can not imagine writing a book about a pandemic during a pandemic, Lynn Cullen has written an incredible story with all the angst and emotions! I found myself so angered because of the culture and medicine of the time and yet so elated with Dorothy's triumph! It was a great audiobook!

This has to be one of the top five audiobook for the year! The performance was superb! And the story, was gut wrenching at times and the twists had me continually turning pages! With this story, hearing it being read drew me in and connected me to the characters immediately! There where a few times that I had to walk away and not listen because I was so afraid that the author would do something and turn the story in a way that I didn't want to go. But then I would have to know! Absolutely a great story and this one, I recommend listening over reading!
