I think someone in my book group recommended this. I took a chance and I'm really happy I did. My OCD side of me was very happy and the story and narrator made me smile and happy. Overall I really enjoyed this book and the cunning behind it.

How can you leave me on such a cliffhanger?!
This book literally took my soul and threw it out a window!!! I've never had a book hangover before this series.
Yes, Both Crescent city and House of Sky and breath have Epic world building and can be hard to get into. but the payoff is extreme. Hang in there for the ride of your life!!!

First, Elizabeth Evans? You can't ask for a better narrator.
Second, if you're not on the Sarah j Maas train. You need to be!
This entire series is not only my absolute favorite series by her but also in general. The entire world building and character building is beyond Epic. These books will have your soul ripped open and stitched back together then ripped open again and with Sarah you don't know if it will be stitched back up again. that's how powerful of a writer she is!

Don't be fooled by the title. This is not a rendition of Peter pan.
With that being said, this book was recommended in my online book group and I just finally got around to listening to it and my God I'm glad I did! Nice, shorter listen than I'm used to so it was a pleasant surprise.
Definitely recommend!

I don't want to give the story away by review but I loved this book. I am on the second and will get the third. the duel narration can be tough sometimes with certain books, but I found this to be paired well.
the story is well written and I find myself getting into numerous series where I feel like the main character just keeps battling one event after the other and other and it can get tiring. so after this series I might need a light listen. but overall I recommended. it's very clever and thought out.
I hope you enjoy

Story
It's winter in the Catskills and Mitchell's Inn, nestled deep in the woods, is the perfect setting for a relaxing—maybe even romantic—weekend away. So when the weather takes a turn for the worse, and a blizzard cuts off the electricity—and all contact with the outside world—the guests settle in and try to make the best of it. Soon, though, one of the guests turns up dead—it looks like an accident. But when a second guest dies, they start to panic. Within the snowed-in paradise, something—or someone—is picking off the guests one by one.
