Story
It's been two weeks since the SOS Hotel opened, and everything is going great... Apart from the detective who's dead set on accusing Zee of murder, the leaking pipes, a psycho sorcerer stalker, a shadowbeast in the attic, and... did I mention Lord Reynard has a wife? Yeah, he didn't mention it either. I could have done with knowing that before, you know, kinda falling for the suave, sexy Vampire Daddy. He also neglected to mention that his wife wants my head on a plate. Literally. This is not the love triangle I was expecting.

Story
Rain Christiansen is settling into married life with fellow cold case detective, Daniel McKenna, and life is good. Better than good, even. But when it comes to the topic of expanding their family, Rain isn't so sure he's ready. Yes, a new addition could enrich their lives. But it could also tear down the delicate balance they've worked so hard to achieve. Do they really want to take that risk? He'd love to brood over that a little more, but murder never takes a day off. A decade-old mystery of the missing Parker family is heating up.

The story revolves around the mystery behind the disappearance of a whole family. The story has many twists and turns, which Christiansen and McKenna expertly delve into. The married couple keeps the flames alive throughout the book. I love that their private life and police life are given equal importance. I am quite impressed that this series just keeps getting better and better! The end is amazing!

Welcome back to Will They Won't They? The Engagement: The Foxily Edition. That's the name of the show that I'm planning to pitch to a producer that's based on my life. Will Fox ever give me a ring? Who knows! I don't, and I don't think Fox does either. If the rock currently sitting not on my finger is any indication, we might be doomed.

Such a humorous romp! I love the world that the Foxilys live in. Gargoyles, cherubs, reapers, avatars of good and evil, thunderbirds… it takes me to a magical fantasy land where anything is possible. Even a mute boy who can communicate very articulately through body and facial cues! Such a fantastic series, and this book has serious plot twists I never saw coming.

Story
Something is wrong with Tom Collins. More wrong than usual. Tom's being nice. I should have known trouble was right around the corner. One attempted murder later, and Reynard is forced to disarm Tom (literally). No bartender means no bar. Zee is grumpy and avoiding me, and the hotel's measly profits are dwindling by the day. Things are not going well. We need our broken, foul-mouthed Tom Collins back. But don't worry. Zee says saving Tom should be a walk in the park for us. Turns out that walk in the park is more like a road to hell. But I've got this.

So fun. The adventure of these three very different characters is hilarious. There are plenty of life and death situations and very original and believable ways of getting out of them (if you believe in fantasy!) TOTALLY worth the price of an audiobook! The spicy romance is still slow burn, and what a fantastic burn it is!

Story
Matt Russo knows better. Everyone does, but no one knows better than an attorney who routinely works with the fae: you watch what you say, or else you find yourself in the crosshairs of trickster magic. Or in this case, with an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. And the ridiculous bickering celestial beings aren’t going anywhere until they help him change his perpetual single status. Worse, if someone finds out he used magic for any kind of gain, his personal and professional reputations might never recover.

It was good fun. Lighthearted romance. Not too deep. It brought up the fae contract a few times and I thought it might get a few plot twists or go down a bit of a deeper storyline. But it stayed light and simple. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is a good one for you!

A little very big dragon finds his voice, two legs, and some delightful human appendages beyond in this MM high fantasy romance, featuring: one forlorn dragon-riding prince, a dragon who just wants to kiss the boy, two incredibly self-sacrificing doofuses, a road to pain paved with all the best intentions, and a plot to upend a kingdom.

I love this writing team and the narration duo is absolutely *chefs kiss* perfect. The continuing story of this family is even, dare I say, better and more brilliant than the first! I am not one to get emotionally wrapped up in a book; however, I found myself on the edge of my seat, heart racing, sometimes flinching, and maybe wiping a tear or two away. Five stars is not a high enough rating for this story!

You know what I'd like to know? Where the hell my romantic, how-we-got-engaged story is. Am I going to get it any time soon? Where is my big diamond? Unfortunately, all that romance-novel-level relationship angst gets put on (indefinite) hold when my beloved son, Bellamy, is targeted by who knows who was poisoned and then abducted by a wolf-ish person I kinda like. Am I going to get my kid back? You betcha. The question is, how many people does Fox have to kill first?

Great plot, lots of action, feisty characters. The way the MC handles his disability (mute puns are fun!) and the expressions and body language he expresses are hysterical. Loved the fun and cheeky way the main character speaks to the reader every once in a while, pulling them into the story fluidly. How many mute people could effectively capture the heart of a bada$$ assassin, claim another (MUCH older) one as their son, call the female avatar of good “Daddy” (he’s her sweet sugar baby!) and pick up a buff, innocent, daft man as his pup? Yeah. It’s that kind of book. Kudos to a writer has created a mute masterpiece- carrying the funny and sweetly snarky vibe (without becoming overdone or just plain juvenile) from the first through the end of a second amazing book!

Of course, I've noticed Angel and Devil noticing me. I've felt their eyes and the deep pulse of their heated wanting. I've also seen plenty of men coming and going from their house all summer long, year after year, and I don't want to be one in a long line. The energy of Palm Island is so strong, it's hard not to get swept up in it sometimes. Temporary lust, the hedonistic thrill of excess I'm only human after all. But something stops me every time I want to give in and let go.

If you’re looking for a beautiful love story, along with just the right amount of angst, look no further! This is one of the best polyamory stories I’ve read this year. We’ve loved super mysterious Goth Chic Raven through many stories. We’ve wondered about Devil and Angel, the solid married couple on the island with a penchant for pulling in a third to spice up their lives. This is their story. The love and affection, the way they draw closer (or run away), and the careful unfurling of trust are expertly written in one of my new favorites! I love when a series throws out a smash hit that rivals or surpasses the original, and I think Neuhold has done it this time!

At least that's what I tell myself when I witness the same hot guy commit mass murder three times in a few days. I'm either the luckiest mute boy ever or possibly the unluckiest. Who knows, maybe him kidnapping me will turn into the greatest love story ever told? Hey, it could happen! You never know how these things will turn out. I happen to believe in love and soulmates, and if nothing else, Arlington Fox doesn't treat my disability like a nuisance.

I love that the main character is mute. He doesn’t roll around in self pity. He see’s life through a VERY different lense because of his struggles. He is snarky and fun and a fantastic sunshine to Mr stoic reaper, the other MC. Great chemistry. Great plot. Ridiculous but not stupid/dumb humor. I thoroughly enjoyed this book & have already pre-ordered the next in audio!

Why is it that the first attractive man to look my way mistakes me for a bad guy, stuffs me in the trunk of his car, and ships me off to an island where I’m positive the only thing waiting for me is my own murder? I mean... yeah, Tavish is charismatic and fun, but did I mention the whole trunk thing? Oh, maybe I forgot to mention his peculiar group of friends who keep promising to “help” me, but why are they running around with masks and weapons while praising fences?

Alice did a fabulous job on this book. Sometimes characters are so similar in a series, or sometimes the same old plot points, that it gets repetitive and boring. This story was so refreshing! The characters were very unique, and each stayed true to their original personalities throughout the story. What a Herculean task to successfully integrate our beloved main characters without having them take too much of the limelight (I’m sure Leland wouldn’t be happy about that comment…). Alice faced that challenge and did it well! It was a very well written work, and Michael was fantastic in adding the perfect voices and emotions to make these new characters pop! He is always fabulous, and I was truly impressed with Tavish’s ever present accent. Extremely well done! This is actually one of my top 3 favorites in the series.
