This book has changed how I run my Regenerative Medicine practice. This book and Alex’s podcast are a must. I have read and listened to this book 3 times and I never miss the podcast.

I have of course read or listen to all seven. I also have listened to most other series in this genre all of the Jack Ryan books, all of the Gray man books, etc., etc. well an excess of 150 of this genre type books. Without a doubt, Jack books are the pinnacle of the genre. His detail to both weapons but other nuanced things like medicine. As an emergency medicine physician and a Swat physician, I understand well the treatment of ballistic trauma and he was 95 to 98% correct in everything he didwith probably only one small exception and that was Katie needing to be on dialysis for a brief time the day of her GSW. A very small mistake no big deal. Each book gets better and better and I cannot wait for the book 8.

I have been a huge fan of the Drive podcast for years and as a physician have argued, we should be practicing medicine 3.0 for sometime now. I am also a Stanford trained emergency medicine physician and there is a one and eight chance that I was the second year ER resident who intubated the lady who coded in the Stanford ER during Peter’s second year of medical school, that he refers to, I did find that interesting. this book is probably one of the most important books that I have read in medicine in the last 25 years. He is completely right that medicine 2.0 is all about letting us get sick and then the healthcare system and the pharmaceutical companies make billions of dollars off of us being ill. the real goal is how to extend one’s health span, and this book is a wonderful blueprint every physician, every healthcare provider, and quite frankly, every healthcare administrator should read this book

I forgot how good JD was. I’ve done many different series and many are good but JD is top level. The detail and accuracy, like special operations and not special forces when referring to SEALs. Using magazines and not clip etc.

No big issues. I’ve listen to the entire series up to this point over the last 3 months and they get better. The terminology is more correct and the stories are great.

I have listen to all of the books to this point. They are good but not great. Some verbiage still off line magazine and clip. Or special forces and operations difference. But I will listen to the next book and you should too

As with each one up to now it’s good. It’s worth the time it’s just not great. The little things in the details. Like once again calling SEALs “special forces” and not special operations. The narrator saying “GV” with referring to a Gulf Stream V (5). Should say G5, like Mitch flew in on G5 not the GV.
Book is worth your time and I’m almost done with the next in series as well and I will finish entire series. I do two books a week, one NF almost always by former “special operations “ and one fiction.

Guns not being correct, special forces instead of operations, the main character changing his EDC brand etc but still very enjoyable and will listen to the next also
