What did you like best about No Direction Home? What did you like least?
I enjoyed the character development of the vacationing Irish couple stranded in Florida after the apocalypse. the baddies were generic
Any additional comments?
This was a fairly standard PA story. I have listened to hundreds, this one is worth the listen. and of course Kevin Pierce, because it's Kevin Pierce.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Some of the prose needed reworking, but the story was great.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Rising?
The whole idea of zombies with intelligence. not just to eat the living, but having an evil purpose. I listened to it late at night and kept telling myself it's fiction, so there is no need to look out the window to check for shambling/decomposing hordes with weapons
What aspect of Joe Hempel’s performance would you have changed?
A bit more inflection in his voice.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
Definitely

Armed with the emotional mayhem inherited from their parents as well as compounded pressures involving a depraved headmaster, clandestine affairs, and Victoria's male-hating mother, The Children of the Roses presents a gripping story of the lengths to which parents will go to protect their children. Little more than a child herself, Josh's ever-sympathetic and overstuffed sister, Evie, lavishes her "food is love" obsession on her beloved niece and nephew, who are coping with their own sense of loss.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Chilling story of an upper-middle class family who has the rug pulled out from under them. the family has no concept of how to live without their affluence. The parents having to survive a social/government system that seems designed to make their life worse just when it is needed most. and really frightening... identity theft and its consequences.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would like to have more info on how Harper would have survived.
Did Heather Elizabeth Lynn Farrar do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
good overall.
What would have made this romance irresistible?
That Harper would grow a backbone and give up Bradford.
