Story line was great and the final way in which it ended very interesting! Only problem, it would have been much better if Kevin Pierce would have been narrator. Great story poor performance!

Great Story

We really enjoyed the first couple of volumes. But for some reason the last couple of volumes changed readers. This made the story painful to complete. Very monotone and just not very enjoyable. Great story but do not know if we wouldnt just stop at the end of the first volumes if we had to do it again. Very poor choice on someone's part...

Story great but reading not so much

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I could not stand the narrator.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mark Shumka?

This narrator is horrible. Why did you get rid of Kevin Pierce.

What a let down...

I thought the first in the series was an interesting story, but I feel the author had one of the characters tale on a quasi-super hero level status that wasn't believable and I found myself literally rolling my eyes at the author's use of the main character. The writing seemed to get lazy in this second set of volumes. Disappointing.

Sorry, this one is a tough "read"

I have to go along with all the other reviews I've read. The guy would have been fine on another story, but not following Kevin Pierce!! I'm not finished listening to the story yet, but it's a struggle.

I have to agree also with one reviewer that said to redo with Kevin Pierce. I will happily pay for another copy of this story if it's read by Kevin!

Why did you change narrators????

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book. Story was well written and well red. I'd like to see more from this author. "This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBoom dot com."

Good book

The first 3 books were great and I was so excited to continue with book 4-6, but...With a little less than an hour left, I did not finish this book. I honestly struggled through the last few hours. It was as if the Author grew tired of writing the book and just wanted to end it...terribly. The jump in time towards the end leaves you with questions that aren't answered. the narrator is dry and often sounds as if he didn't read the book before he started the narration. Why switch from Kevin Pierce to this narrator? It muddles the characters and causes confusion that is hard to get over. I would not recommend this book.

I think the author just gave up.

Would you consider the audio edition of Prepper's Crucible Omnibus, Volumes 4-6 to be better than the print version?

Loved the first book in volumes 1-3. This was well written again; however, the narrators were terrible. I really tried, but could not listen to them.
It should be a warning of what not to do with a good book when it comes to narration. It is as if the publishers went to a local small town theatre group and asked the to literally READ the book. Very bland narration; very poor performance.

Would you be willing to try another one of Mark Shumka’s performances?

No. Again, the book was good, the narrator was absolutely horrible. A glee club could have done better. So bland. He just read it as if nobody was in the room. A robot reading it would have faired the same.

Any additional comments?

Bobby Andrews...its not too late. Try again with the same book but with a better narrator, others have done it, plz redo with a better narrator!

Good book, horrible Narration!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Prepper's Crucible Omnibus, Volumes 4-6?

The trip to Phoenix

How could the performance have been better?

I didn't like the narrator from the first sentence spoken, then the continued mispronunciations of military terms and other delivery issues drove me nuts. Example - It's Core-man, not corps-man... Marine Corps (core)...

Narrator isn't fit for this kind of book
