I loved every minute of this book. It was fun and very cute. It was the first book I have read by the author and I can not wait to read more. I am a sucker for Tudor England and enjoyed the history part very much. I hope to read more soon.

Story
For his victims, for their families and for the investigators tasked with finding him, the senselessness and brutality of the Golden State Killer's acts were matched only by the powerlessness they felt at failing to uncover his identity. Then, on April 24, 2018, authorities arrested 72-year-old Joseph James DeAngelo at his home in Citrus Heights, Calif., based on DNA evidence linked to the crimes. Amazingly, it seemed, evil finally had a name. Please note: This work contains descriptions of violent crime and sexual assault and may not be suitable for all listeners.

Inside Michael’s craft supply store, cashier Ann Chapman rings up another customer. Then it happens. A loud crack; a gust of wind; the light in register five goes dark. Over the next 23 days, the entire DC area will be thrust into a reign of terror unprecedented in American history. Sniper attacks targeting and murdering everyday citizens will bring the entire region to its knees as a nation still reeling from the recent attacks of 9/11 and the anthrax scare is forced to confront a new type of brutal assault - this time in their own backyard.

True crime

I just love true crime. This has some of the audible originals issues I have learned to love. The pauses between chapters as usual. Other then that it was amazing to hear from law enforcement officers and agents that helped to find this duo. Also to hear from the victims and families added to the story. If you like the behind the scenes of a invitation this is for you.

I have no idea why she auctioned off her virginity for a cool mill. Regardless, I'm now the proud new owner of a perfectly intact hymen. A lot of good that will do me. I have certain tastes, certain sexual proclivities. My cock is a bit more discriminatory than most. And training a virgin takes finesse and patience - both of which I lack. Sophie Evans has been backed into a corner.

Story
Since the dawn of time, people have been fascinated by those who claim to have extraordinary psychic abilities. The fascination has reached a fever pitch with the rise of modern media. It is safe to say that many of these folks are either extraordinary frauds or extraordinarily deluded. But could some of them be legitimate? Do some people actually possess psychic gifts that can be used to help and heal?

Started slow but got better
Reviewed: 07-31-17
If you’ve listened to books by Victoria Aveyard before, how does this one compare?
So this book started out slow. I would say I could have done with out most of the first have of the book. It felt like I was reliving the same day over and over again. The second half I was much better. This to me is how all her books have been. I did enjoy this book much more than the last one.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I was not sure how the multiple narrators would be. I had seen mixed reviews about the narrators. Some books I don't think it works well. I have to say I was surprised I like it with this book. I did whoever not enjoy the narrator for Evangeline because I just don't hear her being so meek. So I would have really enjoyed a different voice for her, but other wise it was good.
Any additional comments?
It started slow and felt rushed at the end. Spend less time with getting the story started and give me more of the battle.

Story
It's been years since my mother was in my life. I healed. I learned to accept love. I lived. That's all done. She was away, and now she's back. I avoided her for a year and a half, but I couldn't hide anymore. Mason had an internship in Fallen Crest, so we headed back for the summer. And when we got there - no one was prepared for what happened.

Home and so sweet
Reviewed: 07-31-17
Who was your favorite character and why?
I have to say, Mason. He is a troubled guy with a past but man does he try to right by Sam.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Home was never sweet
Any additional comments?
So a lot of the story line hasn't changed from the first book to this one. Mason, Logan, and Sam still seem to have the same issues they always do. It is just one big fight after another. You can see what the end is building up to and that is a bummer. Having said all that I still enjoyed the book and I can't wait for the next one. I hope all ends up well for this fearsome threesome.
