Narrator perfect, storyline and character development also perfect. Historical info mingles well with the fiction.

I enjoy the characters, it is not silly as I first feared. Narrator does a very good job.

Along comes a book, a writer whose characters are so vivid, that you know there is a doppelgänger in the world of each character. This mystery is so exquisite I mourn the end of the read-listen.

Every aspect of Holmes that you love is here. Yet MacBird reveals just a bit more. Watson and Holmes together almost seem beaten by this case. One of the best Sherlock mysteries!

About relationship with oneself and others. This is a fine read. Not sure what the negative reviews were about- fear of looking within, fear of sex. I guess.

I thought it book was slow at first but once on the island it was thought provoking about human defenses and letting others ‘in’ to love

A goddess of food and intelligence Starling makes a terrific heroine. A fun listen i stayed up half the night to find out the finish. Narrator is strong, plot has twists, a joy of culinary experience as well. I am hooked on this series

Narration perfect. but this story has it all. Less obsessive , and a bit more matured, Agatha is a worthy friend, employer, and heroine.
