When Ris returns to the resort, an unexpected encounter with a slightly familiar face upends this elf's desire to be a free as the wind. All 3 couples are wonderful, however, Tate and Silva are by far my favorite! I wish they had their own book.

Keifer Vassago, the Prince of Dragons, has enough on his plate without adding a brunette with a bad attitude to the mix. Fate has a way of screwing all his plans, though, whether he wants them screwed or not. One second he's fetching his brother from yet another situation that could possibly compromise the Vassago name, and the next that brunette is grabbing his assets - or so he thinks. Blythe isn't after anyone's assets, though. She's a good girl. All she wants is to graduate from nursing school, get a job, and move out of her hell-hole apartment.

What I loved: Unique take. I read and listen to a lot of PR and love Dragons the most but after a bit they all start to sound the same but instead of this being a Shifter PR the Male Main is a dragon rider. I haven't come across too many of those
What I like: I honestly really enjoy Mason Lloyd's style of narration.
What I didn't like: The female narrator had these odd pauses or something like that. It was mildly annoying but I did find myself speeding up to 1.10 during her chapters.
Basically it's like this.....
I feel like this could have been GREAT if it wasn't rushed. Like, I would call this a novella or short story. Funny. Sex wasn't too much or too little. I felt like they rushed through without really exploring any of the details too much.,. Normally I don't like to skip around in a series but I have a rule about paying or books less than 6-8 hours long so I plan on skipping book 2 and going to book 3 since it is still on the Plus Cat for a few more days. I don't feel like I'll miss too much since this book was Keifer and Blythe and the next will probably be one of his siblings and with the lack of detail given I bet I'll catch up pretty quickly in book 3 from what I'll miss in book 2

I actually really liked this.
The story was a lil rushed but I expected that for for a Short Story. Honestly not overly tho.
VV still isn't awesome but this 1 wasn't as bad. Only a few cringey voice inflections.

Harper Hollingsworth wasn't looking for a friend. She wanted peace and quiet. Someplace to lose herself in a book and not think about being a misfit; not think about her coven or her disconnect from the craft as her mother taught it. She didn't want to think about her lack of magical ambition, as she was regularly told by her mother's poison-tongued familiar, and more than that—she didn't want to feel. Anything.

Very enjoyable story. I love how they didn't go the easy sea creature route with mermaids (and that's saying a lot since I love them so much they're most of the decor in my house lol)
Only downer for me was I usually enjoy the female narrator more but this wasn't her best. She's not horrible- she's just had better.

Story
When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical? But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic. At least there's her day job at a local bookstore - free books; all the white chocolate mochas she can drink; and easy access to best-selling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, a.k.a. He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can't.

Why couldn't they do a male virtual voice on the male characters and a female on female chapters? Honestly if you're going to have eace chapter switch off you should consider it.
As for the story. I didn't realize it was JUST going to be a book about a future baby... I guess the next book is going to be 1 long ass Maury Povich episode... but I'm this far in might as well find out, "who da daddy?" Plot twist- I bet it's all 5 somehow

Sweet but you can skip
Reviewed: 06-02-24
This story doesn't give any pivotal information to the overall storyline so if you don't like the narrator on the short stories you can skip ahead. It backs up to where Zac throws vamps through David's window and ends after the compound battle from the same book but this time the love interest is Sebastian's dead sister Cat and 1 of the Russian Imortrals. It is very sweet and sad.
