Story
Nora Stephens' life is books—she’s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart. In fact, the only people Nora is a heroine for are her clients, for whom she lands enormous deals as a cutthroat literary agent, and her beloved little sister Libby.

Epic Adventure Series
Reviewed: 08-18-24
I am thoroughly enjoying this series and rank it up there with Terry Goodkind. Jennings has his own story to tell though with original characters, dialogue, humanoid creatures, and a quest you won't want to end. I look forward to every bit of time I get to spend listening to this series. Very well done!

Story
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

Angel: I’m a teacher. Or rather, I want to be. Fresh out of college, I went on a date with the wrong man and ended up drugged and helpless in a really bad place. The motorcycle club I was taken to was no place for a woman, as I found out the hard way. They thought I was helpless, but I managed to get away - only to stumble onto three kids who need me as a teacher. The problem? They’re with another club. I can’t leave them until I’m convinced they're safe. Unfortunately, the club president doesn’t like me much. He’s also the hottest man I’ve ever come across.

If you could sum up Shiloh in three words, what would they be?
Tearful, joyful, and inspiring
What was one of the most memorable moments of Shiloh?
I love how Marty stood up for what he believed to be
Have you listened to any of Peter MacNicol’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, this is my first Peter MacNicol performance. He did a great job with providing consistent and believable voice performances for each character.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The whole story was moving and I cried frequently out of sadness as well as joy.
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend for children and adults alike. It would be great fun to listen to as a family each night before bed.
