Very good book for kids. Excellent narration.

Both a good story and an outstanding presentation with an authentic accent and change of voice by the narrator. Really enjoyed a book my son was reading in 3rd grade.

"Second Favorite Book!"

Shiloh is my second favorite book and it is amazing! Phyliss Reynolds Naylor did a great job writing this book (so realistic), and Peter MacNicol does a great job narrating this book. He makes it sound like he is telling the story. I also like that he kind of makes different voices for all the characters. AMAZING!

Sweet story, great narration

My 11 year old son and I loved the voice of narrator. It added a sweetness to the story. We talked a lot about the theme of this book as well as what makes a lie and lie. If you are a dog lover this book will pull at your heartstrings! #happyending #sweepstakes #tagsgiving

a boy's devotion

It's a rare find - a book with a story that touches the human element in all of us. Told from the 'boy's point of view, and true to his language and idioms of the South, there is a Mark Twainesqueness about its storyline. If your child appreciates reality based books, and character development, this has it. A good listen, even for adults.
