Loved the Story
Reviewed: 02-13-25
This is the first time I've read a book by this author and I must say I really enjoyed this it. it kept my attention until the very end. I saw some reviews that were not favorable and I'm not sure why because I think this is one of the better books I've read this year. But I guess you can't please everyone. I love unpredictable ending so I was thoroughly satisfied.

She made me wanna scream!
Reviewed: 12-24-24
I enjoyed this book but there was so many times that I just wanted to scream at the main character. She was so naive and did not always think through certain obvious situations. But I guess some people are like that.

Loved and Hated It
Reviewed: 09-15-24
The story kept me listening. Was so frustrated with Austin and his lack of a backbone and failure to effectively communicate with his wife and son. Some actions were predictable but others were a pleasant surprise. I did not like the narrator. The 12 yr old boy sounded like a 5 yr old girl. It was very annoying. Overall it was a good read.

Story
In order to find love, you have to take a chance. You have to open yourself up to the possibility of being hurt. You have to expose yourself in a way that you usually wouldn't; allow others to see vulnerabilities that you try to hide. Journalist Aria Smith tried that three years ago and it ended in disaster. Now, she's just trying to focus on moving up the ladder in her career. She's just been handed the most coveted interview in sports writing, so it looks like she's well on her way. Basketball star Tory Barker is fresh off of a championship season and is in high demand right now.
