It seems I either really like or really not like Martin’s books. This one was okay until the end. That courtroom scene was not believable. I’m giving this one a pass..

Peter Grainger is one of the best police procedural authors I’ve ever read. The plots are intricate and twisty and the characters are so well developed. The narration is also brilliant - please don’t ever change him!!

These novels are like scrumptious dessert - I was so sad to see it end. Extraordinary author and stories; keep them coming!

These stories are pretty good in this series, but the breathy whiny narration at times is grating on the ears. This story especially - not sure I’m invested enough to continue..

I’ve really enjoyed this series, and the writing is very good, but the antagonist in this one was truly evil and made the story hard to listen to for me.

What a great sequel to Guncle. So funny and poignant all at the same time. And funny - sooo funny!

I hope there’s more of Patrick and gang in the future. I’ve enjoyed these books so much!

This is a charming story told in the most charming way. I’m so sad that this book is the only one that’s been translated by this author for Audible.

This book will make you smile days after you finish it. It’s that good.

I didn’t know much about Van Gogh - I had the good fortune to see Sunflowers in London but that was it. To know about how the mental health of both the artist and his brother was heartbreaking and enlightening. The present day story was good too - I recommend!

Can you imagine Al Pacino and Robert DiNiro in the leading roles? What a rich and powerful story about aging and friendship - the great character development just begs for a movie - I’d love to see that. Sad, funny, morose, honest it hits all the feels. Loved it..
