I love that the book and the Series kept the same character descriptions and names. It made it so much easier to follow the story line while having a picture in my mind of the actors. It’s an unbelievable piece of literary works by Margaret Atwood. I think what is even more mind blowing is the possibility it could become an actual reality. For GOD’S SAKE….Men are already telling us women in the United States what we CAN and CANNOT do with our own bodies!!!
This book is a very chilling reminder for all men and women to heed this warning!

Story
Since the day Donald Trump was elected, his critics warned that an unexpected crisis would test the former reality-television host - and they predicted that the president would prove unable to meet the moment. In 2020, that crisis came to pass, with the outcomes more devastating and consequential than anyone dared to imagine. Nightmare Scenario is the complete story of Donald Trump’s handling - and mishandling - of the COVID-19 catastrophe, during the period of January 2020 up to Election Day that year.

This book pretty much validated exactly what I thought was going on at this White House. I find it so unbelievable that so many people drank Trumps poison koolaid. I have been a Nurse for 38 years, so I have the medical knowledge to help family, friends and acquaintances better understand what was going on. What I came to realize throughout this Pandemic that was the number of them who believed Trump’s rhetoric over my knowledge diseases. It was TRULY mind-boggling to see common sense and facts go the way side. One can only hope that the people of this country will realize and see the truth and lies of Trump’s actions/words REALLY did to our country ….This man needs to be stopped and NEVER allowed to hold any official position in government AGAIN!!!

I've lived in Dubuque, Iowa all my life.
Although I never got to meet Kate, my husband and I knew and were friends with Kate's brother Joe and (his then) wife Marcia. They were indeed a very fun, funny and outgoing family. After reading this book, I wish I could've met Kate and her Mother.... I've always been drawn to those people...that March to a different drum! We owned a local popular bar-Murph's South End for over 25 years...and yes, Kate Mulgrew has been to our establishment. Kate is an awesome representative of our town!

Wow, Wow, WOWZER!
Kathleen Zellner is one smart woman. I love the way her mind works. The World needs more
"Kathleen's". I have been a nurse for 36 years and I've always thought it would be so awesome to be a Forensic Nurse. I live vicariously through these real life mystery cases. I would love to meet her someday... To me , she is the most fascinating woman I've never met! I'd hate to get into any trouble in Wisconsin.....it has the reputation for being full of crooked people from the top on down ...I can't stand their Attorney General , such an EVIL PERSON! I'm rooting for Steven Avery...he's never a real life...he deserves to be free. His poor nephew, Brendan Dassy. This just breaks my heart. How could any human being do that to a 16 yo mentally handicapped boy?! Those two cops who coerced him to make the confession should be put before a FIRING SQUAD!!!! Do your "thing" Kathleen...these two men need to go home...SOON!

The emotional trauma we suffer as children not only shapes our emotional lives as adults but also affects our physical health and overall well-being. Scientists now know on a biochemical level exactly how parents' chronic fights, divorce, death in the family, being bullied or hazed, and growing up with a hypercritical, alcoholic, or mentally ill parent can leave permanent, physical "fingerprints" on our brains.

This book is an eye opener for everyone who has had issues with depression or anxiety that never seems to get resolved. I have been a Registered Nurse for the past 35 years. I have been to different therapists over the years. When I brought up my sexual abuse history as a child,(my first therapy visit was in 1993) every single one of them said that this Hx didn’t have anything to do with my current problems. Boy, were they WRONG!

It’s a really great read. Too bad Michael didn’t come to his senses a few years back. It just goes to show what power & money can do to a person and how it can corrupt your morals, values and life. This really could happen to a lot of us, despite your thinking that you could never be sucked in by the rich and powerful. This is a lesson learned and a book every American should read to keep you grounded.

This was an unbelievable glimpse into Donald’s family, his life and upbringing. It explains so much about the inner workings of this man’s mind....why he says the things he says, why he acts so irrationally in situations, why he is so oblivious to the social norms. I think what most people do not realize, is just how fragile those formative years of a child are to their future development. How detrimental verbal and mental abuse can be to the human psyche, thus setting that person up for a lifelong of struggles pertaining to every aspect of their life. This is indeed a very sad story, that unfortunately and more likely afflicts a lot more people than we may know. Thank-you Mary for writing this very personal history of you and your family’s life. Hopefully this was a “catharsis” for you to move past the pain your family life, undoubtedly caused.
