Great story and excellent narration! All the characters are wonderfully executed! As when I read the book, I wish I could find some of Poppy’s jar recipes!

Story
Molly Alcott didn't expect to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over 15 years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the man she'll never forget. Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a wound. Each holds the confession of the man who still owns Molly's heart. Molly wishes she could unread them all. Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one sending them.

I enjoyed this book immensely when I read it a few years ago, but I have to say I’ve found listening to it has made it so much more! Both narrators are simply excellent & I just love the way Teddy Hamilton just makes the hero!

Story
I’m a full-time single dad to three daughters and CFO at Cloverleigh Farms. I don’t have time to fall in love - I’m too busy trying to run a business, keep the red socks out of the white laundry, and get the damn pillowcases on without owing a dollar to the swear jar. Sure, Frannie Sawyer is beautiful and sweet, but she’s 27, the boss’ daughter, and my new part-time nanny - which means she’s completely off-limits. It’s bad enough I can’t stop fantasizing about her. What kind of jerk would I be if I acted on the impulse to kiss her?

So good! The book was terrific to read and getting the nuisances of these characters via this recording is just crazy good! These narrators are top notch!
It is a world I know virtually nothing about but is presented so thoroughly without being over my head that you are there!
Hudson is the best book boyfriend & Allie has just enough complications to make their story touching, heartbreaking & heartwarming!

Having read this series years ago and loving it, it is so great to listen to the story of this interesting couple and how their lives have changed & grown from the first grudging meet-not-so-cute to this moving forward of their lives together.
All the secondary characters are so true to the story and just enlarge this experience or life on Alaska.
I will miss them as I move on to other books, but The Simple Wild series has etched a place in my heart forever.

Are humans meant to mate for life? After four kids and an unfortunate but fateful end to her 22-year marriage, Elsie Smith meets the new guy in town. Kael Hendricks is...a little younger, a lot sexy, and too confident for his own good. He also doesn’t believe in marriage and all that goes with it.

Great story with interesting insights on marriage
Reviewed: 11-20-24
I had enjoyed this book when I read it a few years ago. Hearing the story now, it was just as interesting and really gave a new meaning to “until death do us part”. I loved the quotes at the beginning of each chapter that spelled out the “little things” that could break a marriage.
Gosh, I could relate to some of them!
Elsee felt stuck in her marriage and when it ended tragically, she tried to keep all the plates spinning: her kids, the family business, her church group.
When a younger man opens a competitive business in their small town she unexpectedly finds an attraction to her nemesis.
The development of their relationship & her retrospection into her life as a wife & mother are really terrific. And the younger man just continues to surprise her!

With a setting as mystical & unique as Taos New Mexico, with all the ethnic diversity and ancient traditions, but with a very modern spin on interracial relationships, faulty marriages & finding your way back from the bottom, this is a very good story that takes you by surprise with the many layers of each character, as well as an amazing performance by this narrator. This is a new author to me & if her other works are like this, I definitely think her stories are worth a read or listen!

This is a terrifically, entertaining story. The characters are very well developed, appealing, and so fun! Many parts of the story are laugh out loud funny, and I had not remembered (from reading it) about the lead-in to every chapter which are tongue in cheek descriptions of menu items that you’d find it any high-end restaurant! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

I thought the most annoying thing about being a single dad was that my friends were always trying to find me a date. Until a sassy British ray of sunshine bumps into me at a bookstore. One accidental butt grab, a viral photo, and a lot of misunderstandings later, I find myself in a fake relationship with a movie star.

Loved this story when I read it & thoroughly enjoyed this audible recording! The narrators did an excellent job conveying these strong, unusual, diverse characters. Loved the detail on both football kickers (the American kind of football) and acting (popular & classic). The banter (and the different voices portrayed) were so good! Chloe Wins!!

Conspiracies. Corruption. Serial killers. You name it - I'm fascinated by it. My mom always blamed my overly curious and highly suspicious mind on my dad. My incredibly overbearing dad. Mr. No One Is Good Enough For My Daughter has been terrifying my dates since I turned 15. College is my chance to be free from his control and date any guy I want. I'm absolutely certain he would hate Slade Wylder - almost as certain as I am that I do too. Since when have I shied away from trouble? Slade fascinates me. He lives in a house I'm certain is haunted.

I’d read the book years ago. I read it out of order & before the End of Day series. Yet it still resonates with me as an incredible story, with terrific characters & storyline. It’s amazing to me that the author manages to carry some of these from book to book with such authenticity and depth. Livvie & Wylder are incredible together. Add in glimpses of Jessica & Jackson Knight and the bad guys from G.A.L.E. and it’s just wow!
Voices are really good. Wish there’d been a male voice for Wylder, but still excellent portrayal!
