About this listen

Poppy Maysen carries a journal in her purse. Its pages were filled long ago by a man who craved adventure, lived life to the fullest, and never failed to make her laugh. The journal is his birthday list - one she vows to complete.

She'll do the things he wanted to do most. Because maybe, just maybe, if she can finish his list, she can start to live again.

Poppy expects going through the birthday list will be hard. She expects it to hurt. But what she doesn't expect is Cole. Could the man who watched her heart shatter be the one to put it back together again?

Devney Perry does it again...

I savored this story. I had so many emotions. The voice actors did an amazing job bringing it to life.

Such a touching story

Such an emotional and heart touching story!! This was my first Devney Perry book, and I’m totally in love with it! The narrators did a phenomenal job on this and every emotional up and down was portrayed perfectly.

in my Devney Perry era and not complaining!

Just more proof that I’ll read everything Devney writes. I’m in my Devney Perry era and not complaining!

Poppy and Cole meet on the worst night of her life. He is the officer who tells her that her husband has died. 5 years later she’s back and she’s completing her husband’s birthday list - things he wanted to do before different birthdays. Cole helps her complete the things and they spend a lot of time together. Will the list help Poppy move on and love Cole how he loves her?

Another great one on audio! I loved both narrators performances!!

Such a wonderful love story after loss.

I loved this book when I first read it and listening to it made it even better. Poppy and Cole were made for each other after Jamie’s murder. I love how he helped complete the birthday list. Cole was such a patient loving man. I love the balloon paint fight. Randall was also one of my favorite characters.

Her best

Her best book as far as I'm am concerned. Narration could have been a bit better on the males narration piece, at times it felt like he was narrating "American Justice".

sob fest!

Devney Perry pulled out all the emotional stops with this one!
This beautiful, gut wrenching, thought provoking story has twists and turns, sorrow and joy, big giggles and wracking sobs!
The heartache that Poppy lives with is felt in every page, until, like with her selfies, you begin to feel her healing.
If you've never read any of Devney's books... start now! Every word of hers that I've ever read had touched my heart and soul!

Terrible male narrator!

Terrible male narrator! I cringed during his parts. Good story though the heroine seemed a little too pathetic at first. Aren’t most people down with moving on these days? Enough with the guilt and self blame already!
