I really liked this story start to finish. The narrator was difficult to listen to at times because she was a little over the top dramatic. I thought the story made up for it though.

They were a perfect and beautiful family - until a heartbreaking tragedy shattered their happiness. Now, for the sake of an inheritance that will ensure their future, the children must be hidden away out of sight, as if they never existed. They are kept in the attic of their grandmother’s labyrinthine mansion, isolated and alone. As the visits from their seemingly unconcerned mother slowly dwindle, the four children grow ever closer and depend upon one another to survive both this cramped world and their cruel grandmother.

I loved listening to this book, the story has always intrigued me. The narration was very good. Story is so good...But if you’ve never read/listened to the story before skip the whole forward part because it completely ruins it. It had been a long time and I had forgotten many things about the story but the forward gives it all away. Other than that totally worth it and loved it.

I absolutely loved this story. I did watch the show on Netflix first which made me want to listen to the book. I was happy to hear Sarah’s voice as the narrator. Even though she doesn’t use the Irish accent like in the show it was a pleasure to listen to.

It was good... I wanted to like it more because I loved the first book and the show. With that being said I couldn’t put it down and wanted to see what happened to the characters. Ann was great, but the narrators of Daisy and Agnes sound exactly the same. I don’t know how to put this without giving anything away so I’ll just say that some of the plot was just a little silly. Over all though if you liked the first book and the show, it’s definitely worth the listen and it’s entertaining.

Story
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

I was worried I wouldn’t like the narrator due to all these bad reviews about him but he was perfect. People are far to picky, he did a great job considering all the different characters and depth of the story. Loved it so much!

Story
From New York Times best seller Pepper Winters comes one of her best tales yet... "What do you do when you meet your soul mate? No wait...that's too easy. What do you do when you meet your soul mate and have to spend a lifetime loving him in secret? I'll tell you what you do. You lie." Ren was eight when he learned that love doesn't exist - that the one person who was supposed to adore him only cared how much he was worth. His mother sold him and for two years, he lived in terror. But then...he ran.
