Story
Call me what you want: Bad Boy Next Door. Trouble. That Kid Who Can’t Do Anything Right. When Willow moves into my neighborhood, nothing should have happened. She’s geeky. Shy. A true wallflower. Willow is a good girl. Too good for me. And how the hell was I supposed to know that she’s related to Loren Hale - yeah, that douchebag celebrity that lives on my street. The same guy I've been pranking by spray painting vulgar words on his mailbox and worse. Much worse. I'm cursed. Simple as that. People who are cursed break everything they touch. And yet...I still want to touch her.

For the young adult market.
Reviewed: 07-02-20
For young adults, the themes and storylines within this series are better suited to their market.
It is sweet and age appropriate, but still has a tender sexy element of young love.
For those who love the 'Like US' series, I found this a drastic contrast to the passionate love styles, where well rounded characters intertwined family stories, but there was excitement missing from this book. In 'Like US' I felt a close connection to the characters and my imagination was really engaged in a full sensory experience.
This story was just a bit flat in comparison. A bit slow for me. A cool intro into the younger market, but for more mature readers/listeners, especially die hard "Like Us" fans...this is not something I would recommend out of all the books that these terrific authors have!

When you need a reminder of a love like this.... fierce loyalty, reading the rhythm of another, a loving smirk wrapped up in a tease, a compliment that makes your heart soar. Love in traditional and non traditional ways. Growing into something ridiculously sexy. A future.
A happy, powerful and delicious book!!

Story
This is the whole story, right from the beginning: the sun-bleached streets, the grimy bars on the Sunset Strip, knowing Daisy’s moment was coming. Relive the euphoria of success and experience the terror that nothing will ever be as good again. Take the uppers so you can keep on believing, take the downers so you can sleep, eventually. Wonder who you are without the drugs or the music or the fans or the family that prop you up. Make decisions that will forever feel tough. Find beauty where you least expect it.

Art. She had me fooled....
Reviewed: 03-27-20
I was so sure this was a real band, I searched the web for ages- trying to find them, their photos, songs. It was only then did I realise this was a mythical group. That is how well written this story was. The characters were alive. Their story, the push and pull of wanting verses needing, of trying to find a place for ones soul in a world of creative chaos... of the many ways true love can manifest....this story sits in your soul.
The narration, poetry, storyline, sub themes, emotions...together they move your spirit like a powerful artwork does. It shifts something in you, maybe the compassion we have in knowing how difficult this human experience can be. And the different ways we must learn to love, to maintain peace.
Just, wow.... :)

Story
Samantha is a professional seductress and con artist with a heart of gold. If she talked about her work, she’d tell you she only pilfers organs for medical research and that she only takes one kidney, and she only steals those kidneys from dishonest people. It’s hell on her social life. Abe is the doctor and Sam's partner in crime. He isn’t much of a criminal. Except for the kidney stealing. But he’s using that money to fund his research that he anticipates will be able to cure diabetes. So, all for a good cause...? You decide. Of course, it's hell on his social life.

Story
Maximoff Hale is a force of nature. A ship unwilling to be steered. Headstrong, resilient, and wholly responsible - the 22-year-old alpha billionaire can handle his unconventional life. Born into one of the most famous families in the country, his celebrity status began at birth. He is certified American royalty. When he's assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, he comes face-to-face with the worst case scenario: being attached to the tattooed, MMA-trained, Yale graduate who's known for "going rogue" in the security team - and who fills 1/3 of Maximoff's sexual fantasies.

If you are a hot blooded, passion loving, open minded and witty character, then you will love the fire of this book and an unconventional love story. This series rocks. I am constantly surprised that the authors are female, I feel that they capture nuances of masculinity and the bond that these male lovers share that are wise and refreshing.

Story
Jane’s days at a Midwest insurance company are perfectly ordinary. She blends in well, unremarkably pretty in her floral-print dresses and extra efficient at her low-level job. She’s just the kind of woman middle manager Steven Hepsworth likes - meek, insecure, and willing to defer to a man. No one has any idea who Jane really is. Least of all Steven. But plain Jane is hiding something. And Steven’s bringing out the worst in her.

Sometimes you meet people who are out of this world, so you make them a part of yours. A one-night stand born from vengeance in a foreign land. An explosive chemistry neither of us could deny. We signed a contract on the back of a Boar’s Head Pub napkin that said if we ever met again, we would drop everything and be together. Eight years and thousands of miles later, he’s here. Terrific, sexy, funny... passionate and hell of a delicious! The fire these characters have remind you of that primal deep love that makes a real woman crave a real man, and a real man knows how to drive her wild. Great narration, fast paced and binge worthy! I felt like Brad Pitt walked out of SNATCH and into this story as Mal....although, he was compared to another character in the story, that same naughtiness and charm was abuzz in my imagination. A refreshing read, and unexpected!
