THE SUNDAY TIMES AND NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

From the author of THE SEVEN HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO and the bestselling MALIBU RISING

Everybody knows Daisy Jones and the Six.

Their sound defined an era. Their albums were on every turntable. They sold out arenas from coast to coast.

Then, on 12 July 1979, Daisy Jones walked barefoot onto the stage at Chicago Stadium. And it all came crashing down.

Everyone was there.

Everyone remembers it differently.

Nobody knew why they split. Until now . . .

Unparalleled experience- this is an audible must have

I know a lot of love stories follow a lot of tropes but a mockumentary with as much angst as this one had. It’s gut wrenching, the story and set in a period that was truly rock n roll felt like too good a premise and I was afraid it wouldn’t deliver. But boy, did it deliver in spades. However, I do wish much like Lauren Rowe with her music that pair with her books or Colleen hoover with maybe someday, I wish the author had actually produced the album Aurora. I can’t wait for the series and the soundtrack. I really really hope they use the lyrics accompanied in the book because that album could be a work of art. And the audiobook specifically had so many beautiful voices, not your usual romance audio narrators but nevertheless everyone did a stellar job and it’s a shame to not go through experiencing this book via audiobook, I don’t think reading the book would I have truly captured the essence of the book as much.

Daisy Jo Ed and the Six

A beautiful story, one that doesn’t go the way one imagines it would go. Loved that it has a happily ever after. Difficult for me to read as I have a daughter in rehab.

Okay story, excellent narrators

This is not a kind of story that would have me turning the pages and I did try to read the physical version. But with the narrators, the story is much more alive and fun to read through

More than just an AudiIo book

Can’t recommend this enough. Story draws you in and the multiple character parts in this version are so well cast and it feels more like an audio film than anything. I could not stop listening.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

omg I loved this book I think it’s better as an audio book it was made all the more real by listening to the different voices. I started listening to this book due to the show coming out soon and I wanted to listen to the book before the show and I’m so glad I did!!

The greatest music era, the 70's and 80's!

The best Audible book ever. Loved the characters, the voices, the drama and the stories.
