HOW CAN IT BE WRONG
IF IT FEELS SO GOOD
Dating an American princess comes with a massive amount of baggage - all of which I’m willing to carry strapped on my back in quicksand and through seven hells. But Jane Cobalt’s baggage, I’m unprepared for. It comes in the form of her five equally famous and notoriously hard-to-please brothers.
I want Jane.
Completely.
Unconditionally.
But when there’s a trip scheduled that I can’t be a part of, I only have one option. It’s immoral. Something I’d never consider until now.
But, hell, there’s got to be some perks to being a twin. So I’m doing it. I’m switching places with my brother.
Done and done.
It should have been easy.
There were little consequences.
Until the storm hit.

Jane and Thatcher are one of the cutest couples these authors have ever written. They’re up there with Raisy.
Tangled Like Us was cute. Seeing Jane and Thatcher get together was cute. But their relationship in this book is amazing. Their relationship grew, it got more serious, it had the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Sinful Like Us picks up right after Tangled Like Us ends, we get the answers to some those burning question we were left with in the previous book.
Thatcher is no longer Jane’s bodyguard at the start of this book, he’s been sent back to Xander, and it’s a pretty bittersweet situation. When the famous ones plan a trip *for reasons* Thatcher and Banks decide to switch places so that Thatcher can protect Jane, while Banks can stay with Xander.
As always, the plots for these books are a bit iffy. Not too much is usually going on, but I do think this books pacing was better than Alphas Like Us and Tangled Like Us . There were less lulls in the story and the secondary characters were brought in more. Which always results in better reading.
For any Cobalt stans out there, this book is for you. Connor and Rose make a few appearances, and we get a lot more from Charlie and Beckett as well. We also get a lot less of the Hales if that’s something you wanted. The Cobalts truly are one of a kind, and I really hope these kids get POVs because, straight up, the Cobalts are the most entertaining family. No shade, no tea, just facts.
It is also revealed in this book that there will be a polyam relationship in the future. No spoilers but… I’m not sure how that’s going to go. But I am cautiously optimistic (even if a lot of people aren’t).
Not much else can be said, if not you will get spoiled! I was so tempted to read the spoilers, but I’m glad I didn’t. This books should be read without too much info.
Overall, I thought this was such a fun read! There was humor and angst. Heartbreak and love. We saw a lot of sneak peeks as to what will come in the future. I truly hope these authors extend the series past 8 books. Sulli deserves at least two books (if not 3 or 4 like Moffy), the Cobalt twins deserve to find love, and a certain Space Babe deserves to be cherished.

I love Jane. I love Thatcher. I loved the twin-switch. I love all the characters and the twists and turns this book takes. I was not prepared for the tears I can't believe the girls put us through that. But it was well done.

GAH! Just as amazing as the ebook. I cried in the same spots I did while reading. Which reading was easier b/c I could seclude myself. But I mainly listen to audios while I work as a house keeper. Yeah not so easy or fun listening and crying while mopping. While I was folding laundry it wasn't so bad.
All the STARS!!!

The characters are lovable, confused, brilliant, eccentric, relatable and most importantly, people you want to hear more about. I've laughed, cried, been angry but always rooted for love.
In real life I am an older woman who is jaded about happily ever after. I don't read sicky sweet romances because I usually roll my eyes and call BS while reading.
These characters have touched my bruised heart and lets me look forward to what is coming next. Bravo Girls! Another success! XX

The idiosyncrasies of the authors' writing style still nag at me sometimes. Descriptions like Sharpened jaws, scalding eyes, and never looked away, bring interesting visuals to mind. I see a jaw with razor blades pasted on, eyes in a pot of boiling water, and two rotting corpses with empty eye sockets pointed towards one another. Sigh. I'm getting used to the idiosyncrasies, and I keep telling myself that different cultures have different dialects and quirks. I use the term gullywasher and expect everyone to know what it means.
Still, this was a lovely book with equally beautiful narration. I will read and listen to every book in the Like Us series because I adore all the characters. Even Tony is starting to win me over like an annoying little brother.
Good story. Good narration.
