I have one major complaint. I'm three chapters in and halfway through a chapter it'll just switch to a different character situation with no warning. it is very confusing. plus I don't like the side team. so it's very hard to correctly skip pass. I wish there was more chapter spots in order to help separate the transitions.

first of all, don't hesitate, grab the the trilogy now. I've been a big fan of the first two books for a long time and dying for the third book. and now we have it. and it was worth it.

Eva kaminsky does a fantastic job bringing Jane Harper to life. delivering the story in a way that keeps you wanting to listen to more.

the first two books deliver a solid early Jeremy Robinson experience that you don't want to mess.

for the third book, the first 2/3 lines up perfectly with the first two books. absolutely loved it. the final third is definitely modern Jeremy Robinson. which isn't a bad thing! but it was a little jarring.

i will say, i wish the "host" was different. I felt like it was a missed opportunity because the whole buildup I thought "maybe it's something even worse?" that is all I will say. it still worked and I'm still very happy with it.

the only complaint I have is the poop joke scene. you'll recognize it when you get to it. it helps add some light-heartedness, but it really takes away from the scene. but that is the only complaint I have.

overall a fantastic trilogy. well worth the wait. and maybe, just maybe, we'll see Jane Harper again. if you love Jeremy Robinson, it's a no-brainer, you need to pick this book up right now.

Jeremy if you're reading this, you did a great job.
thank you for giving Jane Harper the ending she deserved.

Eva, if you're reading this, thank you for breathing life into Jane Harper. And I hope you come back for more Robinson books.

book seven delivers the non-stop chaos of war and whiplashes you left and right. there's lots of laughs to be had, but it is also absolutely insane.

I have to say the book kept me on my toes. I went in suspecting that there would be elements of Matango aka attack of the mushroom people, but I did not expect it to have elements from a few other movies. in the dark moments kept me up though the night. 👀

I would rate this story right up there with the rose princess as standing out and being quite wonderful. you can easily pick up any of the books and enjoy the story. I highly recommend this one.

like the story is really good and the progression is great. I really love the background detail of the vampires dealing with the OBS. really fills up the lore!

I'm a big fan of vampire Hunter d. and I am so grateful for the audiobook because it allows me to enjoy them on a daily basis.

overall super happy with everything. I do wish the music and sound effects were slightly lower in volume and more emphasis would be placed on the voices. probably the single largest complaint would be the narrator. his performance is fine but very monotone, I feel like a female narrator would have worked much better though.

I'm still going to pick these audio books up as they release.
