As always Michael Connelly weaves a great story. I could have done without the political stuff It didn’t help or add to the book. On the contrast it makes me wondering if I’ll buy another book of his.

Mississippi Blood is the conclusion of an ongoing Penn Cage story that takes the reader through a truly southern story with a realistic sense of both sides of what it's like to be born there. A great read - my words are inadequate to relate how much I appreciate the work of Greg Iles.

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.
