About this listen

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.

Great read when you need something to make you laugh. Perfect after finishing “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” and “Infidel” leaving me in a dark frame of mind. Stephanie Plum is a Jersey Girl extraordinaire. Love all the characters!!! Would make an awesome Netflix series.

Entertaining

Very entertaining book. The reader does well changing her voice for the various characters, but she sounds much older than Stephanie Plum and that’s a bit distracting.

I started reading the books when they first came out and loved them they only thing I have a problem with is the constant use of the F word. It was bad enough just reading it in the book but listening to the book and hearing it so often makes me wonder if I really want to continue listening to the rest of her books.

I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in the Stephanie Plum series. The first one started a bit slow for me, even though it picked up nicely. But Two for the Dough kept me interested straight through with humor, action, a smidge of romance, and Stephanie's hilarious grandma. I'm hoping the rest of the series is this good, as I'm on to book three...

Even Better than One for the Money
