Story
FIND YOUR CREATIVE COURAGE: Transform Your Life Using Everyday Creativity is a six-part course in everyday creativity for everyone. It is designed to revolutionise our thoughts around creativity, and who gets to use it. The common story that ‘Creativity is only for special people with special talents’ is both debilitating, and untrue. In this series, Clare proposes a different theory: each of us holds within us the ability to be uniquely creative.

Fun, Fast, and Delightful

The ideas here won’t be new to anyone who has spent time studying creativity, but everyone can use a quick refresher sometimes, and Claire (with special appearances by Big Guy and the Brains Trust) presents these foundational concepts in a fun, fresh and accessible way.

Story
Walking in This World picks up where Julia Cameron's best-selling book on the creative process, The Artist's Way, left off to present readers with a second course, part two in an amazing journey toward discovering our human potential. Full of valuable new strategies and techniques for breaking through difficult creative ground, this is the "intermediate level" of the Artist's Way program.

All Cameron's Books Should be Narrated by Caruso

I like Julia Cameron's books in general, and have used my paper copies multiple times for group courses, but what really makes this audiobook shine, in my opinion, is Barbara Caruso's narration. I like her in general (her version of Anne of Green Gables is my favorite) and with this material, she adds a comforting, sensible tone that makes me feel like everything is going to be OK somehow...

Lovely Short Meditation--Great for Commuting!
Reviewed: 12-04-23
Keith Mitchell has a lovely, calming, resonant voice, and this meditation is perfect for a quick listen when I get on the subway after work; I've noticed that I feel notably calmer and able to leave work behind mentally and emotionally when I listen to it and do the visualization.

Story
Forest bathing is a gentle, meditative practice of connecting with nature. Simply being present with all of our senses, in a forest or other wild area, can produce mental, emotional, and physical health benefits. It is a simple, accessible antidote to our nature-starved lives and can inspire us to become advocates for healing our relationships with the more-than-human world. This book is both an invitation to take up the practice of forest bathing and an inspiration to connect with nature as a way to help heal both the planet and humanity.

Solid Nonfiction Title
Reviewed: 12-10-20
The narrator does a good solid nonfiction narration, clear and varied enough, and both topic and narration held my interest. Sometimes with self-development themed titles with lots of activities and suggestions, I find that although I enjoy the audio, I'd like to have access to the print book as well, and I did feel that way with this one.

Lovely Performance of an Old Favorite
Reviewed: 10-12-20
This is in no way an objective review—I loved the Arrows books in high school and they’re still beloved comfort reads, whatever their flaws.
Christa Lewis is a wonderful reader and I’m really pleased that Lackey’s books are once again more available on audio.
